#1 Re: Backlight 2 Support » Submit button hidden inside Filter View button » 2019-04-26 06:51:33

Again—Why is the "Submit" button hidden inside the "FILTER" button??

#2 Re: Backlight 2 Support » Missing Send Feedback Icon » 2019-04-26 06:49:44

I still don't understand why the "submit" button is hidden inside the "Filter" button. This just isn't user friendly.

I have always thought it very un-intuitive to have the submit button hidden inside the "filter view" button. Is there an easy way to set it free and make it easier for my clients to find it?

Sorry—I gave up and deleted all TTG files on my site and will start with a clean install of Backlight 2. I just have to get a gallery online tonight.

OK, my mistake. API now accepted. But now I get "Message: Unexpected error: Undefined index: slug in ApiController.php on line 281" when I try to publish my first album

Actually, that doesn't work, since there is no backlight/publisher folder. Obviously I need at least some of your .htaccess file, right? Lightroom cannot find the publisher API key.

Trying to update from Backlight to Backlight II. If I simply follow your install instructions, I'd be replacing both my existing .htaccess and index.php files, which I can't do. My (Wordpress) site doesn't function without the existing ones.

For those of us who don't use Backlight to construct the entire site and aren't programmers, do you have any suggestions for installing Backlight 2 over a previous Backlight  installation on a Wordpress site?

I need to offer hi-res downloads and have set up a client gallery according to the documentation. Every time I test it, clicking the down load button results in "No input file specified."
There is a "photos-for-download" folder with hi-res images in it on the server.
Any idea what I did wrong? How do you specify the input file?

Sorry—my email configuration was wrong. My bad.

finally switched to Backlight and love it but when submitting CRG form, clients get this error (after a long pause—maybe 10 seconds): "Something Went Wrong...Please try again later..."
This happens every time and I can't figure out why. Any suggestions?
If I return to the same page I sometimes get another message that "my feedback has been sent", but it never arrives.
Here's an example: https://phodography.com/galleries/clien … stwinston/

#12 Re: Backlight Support » No Navigation » 2018-01-10 13:10:41

I'm having the same problem—can't get rid of Tray button, which is supposedly disabled in page template (trays & header). Just a simple client select page (https://businessportraitsnyc.com/client … ithjohn034)

#14 Re: Backlight Support » Backlight seems VERY slow—is it a configuration issue? » 2016-08-06 23:40:56

Well I use Bluehost, my site is otherwise normally snappy, and I've followed the installation instructions to a "t". Any suggestions as to what I might try next?

Every time I change pages in Backlight, (eg, selecting "Designer->Templates->List Templates"), it takes at least 15 seconds and sometimes over a minute to open the new page. The same is true for opening and refreshing Backlight-designed pages. Is this normal, or do I have a configuration problem?

My site (phoDOGraphy.com) works normally—it opens and refreshes in a second or two.

I tried deleting the entire Backlight folder and starting from scratch. Just getting through the setup menus is so slow that I am abandoning this project until I can figure out why.
