Thanks for the response Rod,
In the new template, under root url, I put the https:. The logo is the masthead that is being set up Lightroom, so I'm not sure how it's putting it there.
You can see what I mean, just by the link provided for the login page (https://svphoto.ca/download/2019_ooch/) Once you login, it is fine and secure, but for the login page there is no green padlock. Anytime passwords need to be entered, and it is not secure, it makes clients nervous. There is no green padlock.
I figured out the log in screen thing. I was updating the login template but it was not technically a CRG gallery.
But I am still having problems getting the green pad lock on the site. It is saying that some of the items on the page are not secure. I am assuming that it is my logo on the top of the page, but perhaps it is something else. Any idea how to get that to access the image from the https: side of things instead of the http:?
I have moved my website to a new host, one with an SSL certificate. To make the pages secure I have updated the template with links using https: instead of http:. So i started by making a new login template, but despite me updating and transferring via ftp, is not loading the new links. So i am receiving a message that parts of the page are not secure (e.g., images). Here is a link to one of the log in pages (the web and other links i have updated but are not reflected): https://svphoto.ca/download/2019_ooch/
What i don't understand is why the new template i created is not loading properly. I have checked that it is the selected on on the back end. And how do i make it completely secure? I am not sure if it is something with the new host, or if there is a problem on my end and whether the two issues are related or not.
Thanks in advance, Steve
Thanks Rod, i've done both of your recommendations, hopefully we can figure something out.
Steve
Have you tried re-uploading ttg-be?
Not yet, I can't seem to access my previous orders or access the customer page. I don't get any emails for changing password or previous purchases. I tried clicking on the links from previous orders and that takes me to a Order Error page.
Is this with the same host?
Yes. Same host.
We’re you using phplugins?
If so, has the server path to phplugins changed?
I don't think I was using php plugins, but I'm not sure. I've kind of set it and forget it. How can i check this? Where do I find where the path to the phplugins is? The server has changed names, but the website location is the same.
Have you asked your host about the problem?
Did they change the php version?
Initially after migration, they changed the php version so the entire site was down. They switched it back to 5.6 and the main site worked fine, i just never checked the TTG portion of the site.
Then more recently, when i realized this issue, I contacted them about this, the person tried some things which ended up knocking down the entire website.
Hi I'm hoping you can help me.
Recently my site was migrated to a new server by my hosting provider. Since then, i have been unable to access previous client response galleries--they return a white screen.
I tried to look at the Publisher API settings, thinking it might be a problem there, but when i check the API there i get a message: Error reading function (Code 500)
When i go to TTG-BE and attempt to access the publisher settings, i get a screen with the following message:
Fatal error: Class 'DOMDocument' not found in .../public_html/ttg-be/framework/lib/XML2Array.php on line 33
Any other thoughts on what I could do?
Thanks,
Steve
Hi Ben, thanks for getting back to me. I got it working. Took the dog for a walk to give me a break and the solution came to me. It stems from the previous problem I had with having albums of the same name in different folders affecting other folders. I know there was an update as a fix but the process for updating is a little too much for me with limited time. Some day. Anyway, so my original album was located in download/test1 and the next one was jrps/test1 I deleted those albums and instead worked on a new album name test07 and everything was working fine.
Again, thanks for your offer of help.
Cheers,
Steve
and no there is no digital option either. It's disappeared despite a photos-for-purchase folder being populated correctly in the folder on the server. I know i'm making a mistake somewhere just have no idea what's going on.
Okay, so I have another question. I had an existing publisher list that i tested this out on. I have two products, digital download or print package. It worked fine on the existing folder. When i created a new folder, it only has the digital download option. I have included the correct cart pricing folder and everything else in the publisher folders is the same except for the destination folder on the server. Any ideas why the print package does not appear on this one?
Lol, i guess that was an easy question to answer. So once a coupon is used, it can't be used again, correct? Thanks.
Hi guys,
Just wondering is there a way to add a discount code which, when applies, gives a client a $25 discount. I know this is possible, however, i would like the discount code to be only available for a single use for each client, so they don't make one purchase, and use it again for a second purchase and so on. Is there any work around? Basically, I need to give a $25 one time credit.
Thanks,
Steve
Hi Ben,
That's what i was trying. I think the problem might be that the order has already expired. Every time I try that method, when i go back to the same picture it reverts to the previous expiry date.
Steve
Hey guys, so i know how to change the expiry date on the backend. But this does not affect previous orders. I have someone who is requesting to access their purchases. I went into the order in the back end and clicked to edit the purchase. When i changed the expiry date area for each picture an click save, it wouldn't actually save and would just revert to the original expiry date. Is there any way to change this after the fact? If not, what can i do to allow the client to access their purchase?
Thanks,
Steve
Hi wondering what the best way to do this would be. I need to assign the same gallery to two people. How does that work for their individual selections? Do they see each other's? What happens when one person submits? Should i instead make two galleries with the same content and assign each person to one gallery?
Thanks,
Steve
Thanks Ben, you fixed it! Gave Ben access to the ftp and he did what the support team at my host provider couldn't. Awesome support!
Hi Ben, I'll send you an email with some links in different folders.
Hi Ben, so I think i might have spoken too soon. Not about the thanks, of course, but that everything was working. The TTG-BE works now, but when I try to enter a client gallery, i get the same message as previous about the modules not enabled. So frustrating!
So i shared what you mentioned with the site5 support. I didn't hear anything from them. Just checked now and it's working. And I see that what you mentioned as being missing is now there. I wish I'd now what happened in the last couple of weeks, but it's wrong now and that's the most important part.
Once again, thanks so much for your support Ben! You pointed the support team at the host provider in the right direction with specifics. Awesome!
With thanks,
Steve
Hi Ben, thanks for that. They ensure me both modules are working. I just got off the phone with support. So before i do what you are suggesting, I'm going to email you their suggestions which they want me to pass on to you. Maybe you can make some sense of it. Thanks. Hope to get this working soon because I totally rely on your product!
Yes. Last week. I'm assuming he looked at them prior to responding here, but i'm not sure.
Hi guys, so i finally heard back from my host's technical support and they indicated that both SQLite and PDO modules are installed and enabled on the server. So i'm not really sure where to go from here. It's still not working and things are backing up. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Steve
So updates will solve this? I just assumed something was up with the server since there wasn't a problem last time I updated a gallery (2 weeks ago). In that time I have been redoing my website so I'm wondering if there could be a conflict there.
Tried to update an album via publisher and got an error message:
"...internal error has occurred: JSON.lua:498: JSON.lua:197: can't parse JSON at char 1 of: Unable to find the SQLite Module..."
So...what do i do now?
I kind of have a feeling I'll have to do a "free with purchase" offer instead? Or ask them to send an email so they can get it. Too bad. It was a way to drive people to the site and maybe see something else they want.
I don't have that. Under checkout, this is what I have...
