How do I delete my registration?

#2 Re: Backlight Support » Upgrading to 1.2.2 rel 2 - Error » 2017-08-28 01:50:19

Nice!  Was not working when I finally went to bed last night.  Thinkin' it just took time for the server to catch up with my changes.

A continuing thank you to both you and Ben for your invaluable software and support.

Big Cheers!

Stan

Reloaded "module/module-theater" and my website is back, with the exception of "theater" not working on my "home" page.

What do I need to do to get "theater" running again?

Stan

#4 Re: Backlight Support » Upgrading to 1.2.2 rel 2 - Error » 2017-08-27 16:48:30

Replaced the pre-1.2 modules.

Now:

"Something went wrong
Unable to find the module module-theater.

Have you removed this from backlight/designer/modules? If so, either copy the module back, or change the template used by this album. in EngineFactory.php on line 482"

Getting' closer, but just not quite "there".  Thanks for the guidance to this point!

Cheers,

Stan

#5 Re: Backlight Support » Upgrading to 1.2.2 rel 2 - Error » 2017-08-27 14:22:26

Change:  Reloaded the upgrade files and am now able to log into Backlight.

However, now my website gives me the error message:

"Unable to load template: ./backlight/framework/../admin/application/views/templates/template_home.php"

Okay, what's my next move?

Thanks,

Stan

#7 Re: Backlight Support » Footer copyright data suddenly appearing in header of home page? » 2017-03-04 07:01:01

Never mind!

Somehow by futzing around I was able to fix the problem (whatever it was).

Sorry to bother y'all!

Just noticed that - on my Home page only - my copyright information has moved from the footer up onto the header.

Every other page is fine.

How do I wrangle it back down?

Cool!  Reloading files took care of the problem.  Thank you!!!

#13 Re: Backlight Support » Tray Column Menu » 2016-09-14 10:46:49

Nope hadn't tried that!  Had no idea where to begin.  I'll give your suggestion a try.  As always, thanks!

1).  How do I get the tray column menu to show all of the time for a Flickity slide show?

2).  At the same time, how was Matt able to have the full-width slide show appear in the main column?

i.e., just like Matt has done in his demo:  http://backlight.theturninggate.net/gal … ty-slider/

Baffled, I am!

#15 Re: Backlight Support » New "Inline Slideshows" » 2016-09-06 16:38:46

Thanks, I got the modules folder from the last download. Loaded it.

The upgrade to the Theater add-on is now working just fine with all of the new choices.

With a humble bow to you and a deeper "thank you", all is well again.

Thanks for hanging with me.

Cheers,

Stan

#16 Re: Backlight Support » New "Inline Slideshows" » 2016-09-06 16:28:17

Okay, I just did a major, stupid thing. I deleted the Modules folder entirely, instead of just deleting the module-theater folder.

What's the best way for me to dig myself out of this hole I created for myself?

#17 Re: Backlight Support » New "Inline Slideshows" » 2016-09-06 16:18:45

Should, but doesn't.  I'll go ahead and delete the module-theater folder and then reload it and see what happens. I'll let you know what happens.

Thank you . . . .

#18 Re: Backlight Support » New "Inline Slideshows" » 2016-09-06 16:10:44

It's the old one "Vegas FS" that's still listed.  I looked at my server and all of the new files seem to have updated. ?????

#19 Re: Backlight Support » New "Inline Slideshows" » 2016-09-06 16:08:38

I even cleared the Template Cache.  Still no "Style"

#20 Re: Backlight Support » New "Inline Slideshows" » 2016-09-06 16:06:55

Just tried changing/saving/changing back/saving:  Still no "Style".

#21 Re: Backlight Support » New "Inline Slideshows" » 2016-09-06 16:02:31

The "existing template" is the "Full Screen" one. Does that have anything to do with "Style" not appearing?

#22 Re: Backlight Support » New "Inline Slideshows" » 2016-09-06 15:59:31

I am changing the "Presentation Type" on an existing template.

Possibly, do I need to create a new template before "Presentation Style" will appear?

#23 Re: Backlight Support » New "Inline Slideshows" » 2016-09-06 15:48:12

That's what I was kind of expecting, but it's not appearing!

Installed Theater 1.0.1.

I know where "Set Presentation Type" is located.  Where is "Set Presentation Style".  Can't find it!!

This is in reference to Matt's "Update Theater Instructions", copied below:

"In 1.0.0, Vegas Slideshow was used for full-screen gallery presentations. For 1.0.1, Vegas can now be used to create full-screen or inline slideshows. The implementation has changed between versions, so users with existing full-screen gallery templates will need to revisit their settings:

Set Presentation Type: Vegas Slideshow
Set Presentation Style: Full-screen"

Me thinks "good guesses" come from a similar place our "knowing" comes from, its just that our unconscious doesn't leave breadcrumbs. 'Til next time . . . . . . .   Cheers!
