HI Rod,
Yes I did update the Publisher. Now the 1.2.2 top-level page loads fine, but the 1.1 top-level (galleries link above) throws error:
'The album with id 1 could not be found in GalleryDelegate.php on line 114'
HI Rod, thanks for response
, I ftp'd the 'publisher' directory, (some how was not uploaded originally) and am now able to get the 1.2.2 top-level index, but the 1.1 album index still throws this error:
'Something went wrong
The album with id 1 could not be found in GalleryDelegate.php on line 114'
http://session.photogenerations.com/galleries/ . is 1.1 top level
http://session.photogenerations.com/2017/ . is 1.2.2 top level
Colleen
Am customizing image presentation in 1.2.2.
How to replace the 'pswp_counter' (upper right area in large photo) with the file name in large photo presentation?
Am not using cart or client respose or slideshow, just pages and BL1.2.2.
Just need client to see the image file number on the large photowipe images.
I like the 1.2.2 photoswipe look, but need that filename info else it creates problems.
thank you!
My 1.1 Backlight install was just updated to 1.2.2. It has pages, (no cart, client response or wordpress etc).
I put the following old directories into the new 1.2.2 modules directory in order to keep the old albums intact:
-modules/standard album
-modules/standard album set
-modules/page
The good news: It is possible to get to the old albums, AND to create and access new 1.2.2 albums.
The bad news: index pages for top-level indexes are broken, throwing the following error messages:
___________________
"Something went wrong
The album with id 1 could not be found in GalleryDelegate.php on line 114"
Above is error when going to top-level album index page that was created with Backlight 1.1

"Something went wrong
Unexpected error: Undefined variable: breadcrumbs in Album.php on line 315
Please report error at http://community.theturninggate.net"
above is error when going to top-level index page created with new Backlight 1.2.2
How to fix? thank you!
Ben, In BacklightPublisherTop-level GalleriesGalleriesEdit
Edit Top-level Gallery
I switched it back to original setting (below) and the red error box at bottom went away.
Show Breadcrumbs no
Show Top-level Breadcrumb in Child Album/Album Sets yes
yes that worked great! like the option to have gallery descendants shown in the menu as well.
still getting a
Something went wrong
Unexpected error: Undefined variable: breadcrumbs in Album.php on line 315
but that is in another support msg.
thanks for quick response. Ill try it!
thanks for the explanation!
it looks good now. no hidden galleries are showing.
Previous menu URL link that worked perfectly in 1.0 now throws an error in 1.1 update.
Desired link:
http://www.mysite.com/mydirectory/contact-us/
Link delivered (with Paradox 404 error message)
http://www.backlightinstallsubdomain.my … ontact-us/
How to fix?
thanks
1.1 update now showing all 'hidden' galleries
How can this be corrected in the Backlight admin area with one setting for all the albums?
when I look at
BacklightPublisherTop-level Galleries-Albums-my album-
View Album Settings
it shows HIDE FROM ALBUM SET: yes
But none of the individual albums is now hidden
Features
Enable Maps: no
Enable Password: yes
Username:XXX
Password: [hidden]
Display Breadcrumbs: no
Hide From Album Set: yes
Hide From Search: no
Updated to 1.1-and got this error message:
Something went wrong
Unexpected error: Undefined variable: breadcrumbs in Album.php on line 315
the above message in red box at bottom of page when attempting to remove breadcrumbs from galleries.
Yup, Lightroom 3... it works for me....Looks like Lightroom 6 is $142......might be time to upgrade....
Backlight Designer works on my website..j. and new albums are created...just can't get photos to upload :{
PS Love your site--very clean and looks like you're using CE4 and Publisher
Just to clarify, when I publish, the new album IS created, but no photos are uploaded. so far I have created 2 new galleries and they show up, but no photos in either.
AM using Lightroom 3 and just installed Backlight/Pages.
Good news!: the website works!
However within Lightroom 3, when I create my first album
Lightroom fails to upload the images & throws the following error:
Cant Update this Collection
An internal error has occurred: TTGPublishServiceProvider.lua:702: attempt to concatenate local 'embeddedMetadataOption' (a nil value)
any thoughts on how to fix? Is lightroom 3 not working with Backlight?
thanks for your thoughts,
Sea
Appreciate your response. thanks
Reading thru this exchange:
novice newbie: I, too am new to TTG and could not find a basic explanation or chart or guide to match my needs /software to TTG products. I was pretty confused and didn't purchased software. And am still trying to figure out if my current software will work with TTG!
A question: I am using CS3 and Lightroom 3. I want to install client portrait proof galleries in a sub-domain on my website.
Which TTG software to use? Do I need to pre-setup the Gallery's? Can I make each client session it's own Gallery?
All the best,
