Thanks Rod,
It makes sense, most folks are trying to make a website with the plug in and its wonderful Matt has advanced the plug ins so far. My website is separate from the client proof galleries which is what I use the plugin for. And they work fantastic, clients are happy with how they can choose the images and respond. Great plug in
I'm just not to swift with the back end changes and most of the documentation is with the publisher plugin. I had read the link you sent before I bought the upgrade and thought it would be easier to no bother with publisher. All of the tutorials are for that. So I will just purchase the next piece and hopefully I will be fine after that. if not I will be back
Thanks so much for your help! Much appreciated
My problem I believe is I only upgraded purchase Client response gallery and not publisher. Never needed it before.
Following the tutorial right from the top of the page it says
TTG BE
CE4 Auto Index
CE4 Client Response Gallery
CE4 Publisher
I only received TTGBE and CE4 Client Response gallery
You say it can be done without publisher but its probably easier with it, is that correct.
It was so much easier before. I have been using turning gate for years, just buy the plug in, set it up, export a gallery, upload to the server, done.
If I should just buy publisher to make things much easier, let me know and I will just buy it.
HI Rod,
Back at it today. (lots of shooting happening, Yay!) Back to processing.
Ok, this is really a silly question. The Tutorial says:
First, copy both /crg and /publisher into the /ttg-be folder, such that you will have:
/ttg-be
/ttg-be/crg
/ttg-be/publisher
Where is the original folder I am to copy these into? In lightroom? Server? Sorry, like I said I'm not good at any of this
Thank you
Wendy
Hi there, I am a longtime Turning Gate user. I have been using the CE3 Client response plugin for lightroom since it came out (and the one before that too). I have been using it as a stand alone proofing gallery for my clients. I create the proof site in lightroom, export the file to a hard drive, then upload it to the server with an ftp program.
I just purchased the CE4 client response plugin, installed it, created a new template, exported it but it doesn't work. there is no index.html . Going through all of the documentation and the forums I am still at a loss. I am NOT very good with these sort of things. I can follow the instructions to a t and usually get things going but I can't figure what I am missing.
any help would be appreciated
Wendy
