#1 Re: CE4 Publisher » Error Uploading Rendition » 2015-02-22 04:05:10

I've discovered, at least in my case, that GoDaddy isn't the issue but my ISP which is Cox communication.  When TTG Publisher returns the error, my website goes completely down. I contacted Godaddy and they assured me that the site was up. I was able to access my website by going to megaproxy.com which bypasses my ISP. So, it seems to me that TTG is alerting my ISP that something is amiss and they shut the communication down. I don't really understand how this is happening, but it is too consistent for it to not be TTG. The website is accessible continuously up until the moment that TTG returns the error that I get everytime I've uploaded 10 to 11 images at once. The the website is instantly inaccessible through my ISP.  I can FTP images all day long without any issues.

Can this be fixed?

I'm having the same issue, TTG will only upload 11 photos before getting the error. I just got off of the phone with Godaddy and basically they are saying that I need to upgrade my account to one with cpanel. Very frustrating because it worked before I upgraded my computer and the TTG plugins. Godaddy said that TTG was opening up multiple connections and that was what was triggering the "shutdown" even though you can upload through FTP all day long without a hitch.   A lot of people love to hate Godaddy, but they are the big kid on the block and have a lot of customers. I would hope that TTG will realize this and figure out a way to resolve.

Thank you, Rod. Here is the link. http://masterpieceimage.com/photos/rossies-party/

I just noticed that sharing the Index page works fine.. it's just when I try to share an individual photo that it glitches.

I  am on a shared hosted server with Godaddy. I have several domains being directed to folders one level down. CE4 Gallery works from these sub folders except for the Social Media Sharing Button. When it is clicked, it shows page not found. If I install ttg-be on the top level (along with a photo gallery,) it will work correctly. I would like to have photo galleries within the folder that the domains are directed to.

I understand that the photo gallery folder and the ttg-be folder have to be on the same level. To repeat, these work correctly (social media share button works) when these folders are on the top level of my hosting plan, but if I put them in a subfolder, the social media share button returns a file not found when pressed.

Is there a way to fix this issue?
