Thanks for mentioning that Rod. I just took a look at that but it really covers up most of the masthead. I was hoping for something more subtle. Thanks for the input.

Hi,
Does Backlight2 have the ability to add a temporary message banner somewhere at the top of the home page where you can place a message? I've seen this on many sites but can't find how to do it in Backlight2. This is the kind of temporary message that you can choose to appear and then the user can X it out if they don't want to see it. Would be a thin area, just one row of text high and you might use it to add a message highlighting something that's important but temporary and of course you could easily change the text and you could have a hyper link in that text. Thanks for any help!

Ok, that worked. Thanks!

Two more questions?

How do I get labels on the the gallery thumbnails (the albumn or gallery name)?
How do I get rid of the white line under the gallery thumbnails?

Both on this page: http://www.scottwaltonphotographs.com/B … galleries/

Thanks!

Hi Rod,

I wasn't trying to edit the text, I was trying to see how I would apply one of the new templates to this page:

http://www.scottwaltonphotographs.com/B … galleries/

Not sure what this page is called but ultimately would be the place where each of my gallery thumbnails will live. Currently just one as a test.

Thanks for any help!

Rob, I think I've followed these directions but only the default template is listed even though I installed the 4 new templates yesterday. Maybe the new templates don't apply to album sets?

Thanks for any info,

Scott

I can't figure out how to make drop shadows on my gallery thumbnails, both the gallery list page and the individual image thumbnails.

http://www.scottwaltonphotographs.com/B … galleries/
http://www.scottwaltonphotographs.com/B … ight-test/

I've turned on what seems to be drop shadows in the settings but I don't see them.

Even though my page background is dark and might be masking a shadow, I tried setting the page background to white and there was no shadow there.

Thanks for any help.

I'm very interested to know about LR 6 and CE 3 compatibility too. Thanks for testing and letting us know. Is this the thread to watch for that info? Thanks!
