I wonder if publisher is ideal for me? Especially if I can do other things in LR while it's publishing? I'm also wondering if LR4 is slower than LR5 since I'm using LR4?
So it's 3 times longer to export? I just exported 53 at 70 jpg quality, 1024/194, sharpen standard and it took 12 minutes. Thanks for comparing the two CE's. Now I know I am not the only one.
Thanks for your help Rod. I don't know. It was 1-3 minutes depending on file quanitity on export when I used CE3, now 10-20 minutes on export with CE4.
I tried that and it took 13 minutes on 47 images. It seems it is all the single.php images dragging along for the high rez download?

I have LR 4 using CE4 now, and what used to take 5-7 minutes to export a gallery of about 60 images, is now taking about 20-25 minutes. Anything I can do to speed it up?

Hey Matt, Thanks for the reply. I am speaking of the Social Media Icons at the bottom that link to my social media sites. I don't use tumblr, VSCO and RSS. One CE3 in LR I could erase the http link, and the icon would disappear. On CE4, the icon remains.
The email icon on the single pic share option opens a new window but not the email on iPhone 5. Please advise.
Okay, Thank you DL and Matthew. The website that is copy the link to has a policy that I cannot link from the webpage. However, I am doing one with Social media sharing too for clients. My question is, is there a way to eliminate the social media icons that I do not use? Also, I add a counter.php script to index.php and mobile.php. Is this the same as template_index.php now and template_mobile.php?

I have custom User Templates in LR that I use to create my galleries. If I upgrade to CE4 Gallery, will my settings still be the same? i.e. Thumbnail sizes, Google analytics info, masthead pic, social media addresses? Thanks! - Kevin
