I have applied the updates as described in the readme file at download CE4-TTG-BE-205c and download CE4-Cart-314b. Still, I still get errors when using the shopping cart. The error message is Something went wrong (SyntaxError: Unexpected identifier)
Please try again later, or contact the photographer if this problem persists.

when I use the shopping cart I get the error: Something went wrong (SyntaxError: Unexpected identifier)
This happens as soon as I want to add a product to the shopping cart.

Can you provide a link to a cart enabled album?

I don't have a CE4 installation anymore since it is kind of outdated. So rather spending time with CE4, I would recommend to upgrade to BL2. Many things are so much easier now.
Anyway, what is the difference with this test gallery and the https://www.leonvanlier.net/galleries/f … eythuysen/ album? The later works.

the one that works appears to be a Backlight album. the other is an uploaded CE4 Gallery that's in the root of the Backlight site.
Could be some conflicts with that arrangement?

I suggest creating a separate folder for any CE4 galleries. Place it at the same server level as ttg-be
Daniel’s advice is still the best. Or if you already have Backlight 2, convert your CE4 Galleries to Backlight albums.
Backlight Cart is supported with bug fixes and compatibility updates.
Cart for CE 4, as far as I know, is not.

Rod is correct.
At this point, we do not support CE4.
Also, the January update for Backlight 1 is the last update; we no longer support it.
Upgrading to Backlight 2 is absolutely the thing to do. Much is fixed, much is improved, and there's always more to come when you're on the latest.
