Backlight settings transcript

Just wondering if it's possible to print a transcript of all the settings in a Backlight designed site. Could be used as a log for new creations or troubleshooting.

Re: Backlight settings transcript

I suppose you could go into the database, find the corresponding tables, and print that out.

Probably easier to do screen captures (SnagIt will capture scrolling screens)

A Backlight Settings export feature could be handy. Maybe a CSV file for a visual reference and a file that could be imported into another site.
(don't know if it's possible)

Some settings (like website/company url) can already be included in template exports.

Re: Backlight settings transcript

Exported templates are saved as semi-readable TXT files. This may or may not be of value to you. By semi-readable, I mean that the output is unformatted, and that the settings are given their coded names, rather than their human readable names.

You could probably auto-format them using editor features or clever Find & Replace techniques, though.
