Vegas Slide Show

Hi, the transition slide left and slide right works not correct. Only some images will slide. Slide left 2 and slide right 2 works with first white blank screen. Same for slide up and slide up2. Slide down works. Slide down2 works.

----------

In an album template type - theatre - the slider of the photos width and height has for me no function. All images (uploaded size without Lightroom was 900 max width) are shown always in the same size.

Also if I change the value max width under - Presentation -. I cannot see any  changes in the slideshow. When have I do here changes?

Template Cache was every time cleared.

Rainer

Edit: The page has 1 column. Now I changed the value of the gutters. Now the presentation of the images gets smaller.

Re: Vegas Slide Show

Can you share a link to the page that shows your Vegas slideshow? Thanks!

Re: Vegas Slide Show

the size of the photos you see on the page is somewhat dependent on the page width.
If you have uploaded images that are 900 px in width but the page space for the slideshow is less than that, then the images will look smaller.

In Presentation, the max-width setting refers to the max width of the slideshow itself, not the images.
It can be used to make it so a slideshow doesn’t take up the whole width of the page.
For example, if your page width is 1140px but you want the slideshow to be only 600px wide.

The photo width and height setting in the template controls the image size. If you were using Lightroom to publish, it controls the exported size of the images.
Since you are using Backlight yo publish, I believe it can only make images smaller.
So if you’re uploading 900px images, that’s the largest they can ever be, though they can be shown smaller.
If you need larger images, I believe you’ll need to reprocess them on your computer to a larger size and then replace your existing pictures.

As to the transition effects, you’ll need to post a link to an album that’s having a problem so that Matt or Ben will have something to look at.

Re: Vegas Slide Show

Thanks, I have test it now once more. This time on iPad Pro. Now it works. The problems were at my MacPro 2010.
Now at my Macbook Pro 2009 all transitions work.
I have to test it tomorrow again. Don't know what happened.
I tried it for about 1 hour and always the same trouble (only 17 images, each image 350 kb 900 px).

Re: Vegas Slide Show

And I'm not seeing any issues with transitions.
