I have the Image Download button "on" in the Standard Album Template>Large Image Presentation.

But when I click the Image Menu icon in the large view on the website, I get a "No input file specified." blank page.

See http://www.wtgphotos.com/newSVproductio … id=1&pid=1 for example.

Thanks for the help!

Terry

Re: download image not working

this can happen if you've modified your album template to include downloads OR if you changed to a template that includes downloads AND you haven't republished the images.
Make sure that the "Push metadata without updating existing photos" is NOT checked in Publisher set up

Re: download image not working

I removed all the metadata settings and re-published from Publisher but still no download.

In the Album Setting > Image Settings > Photos for Download I have "Create custom download rendition via Publisher" selected. Is this a problem?

I do not see a "Push metadata without updating existing photos" selection anywhere. I have all metadata settings turned off or the fields are empty.

Large Image Presentation is set to Photoswipe.

Still get the No Imput File Specified message.

Thanks for the time!

It's in the Publisher settings. In Lightroom > Publish Services, double click on the TTG Publisher for your Backlight site. It's under Other Publisher Options:

Re: download image not working

Yes. all those settings in Other Publisher Settings are turned off. I saved the settings and republished all the albums and still no ability to download an image.

Re: download image not working

Ben will probably need to look. the photos are definitely in the photos-for-download/ folder:
http://www.wtgphotos.com/newSVproductio … -download/

Are all your Backlight components up to date?
might be a .htaccess file issue, but Ben will know

Re: download image not working

one other thing to try. Recreate the template as a new template. Apply to the album and republish.

Re: download image not working

I uploaded 1.1.0 this morning and have been working with it.

I created a new album template, attached the Publisher albums to the new album, added new images, and republished everything and still the same result.

Thanks for your time! I'll wait to hear.

Re: download image not working

Terry, the other guys will correct me if I'm wrong (and I often am) but I think if you've got "create custom download via publisher" set you need to create a gallery or a publisher instance to upload those photos to a download directory on your site...I think. Myself I just leave the download images setting in the template at "use photos rendition" and that has been working for my clients.

Re: download image not working

with "create custom download via publisher" on, Publisher creates the download renditions to the specifications entered. They're automatically placed in a folder named "photos-for-download" when images are published.
This is for those instances where you want to allow visitors to download images larger than what's being displayed.

In Terry's case, the images are being created and are in the "photos-for-download" folder.
For some reason, the php download is not working correctly. I remember seeing this happen before but I can't recall what the problem was or the solution. But Ben will probably know.

Re: download image not working

Hi Rod,  it's looks like a .htaccess / FastCGI issue.  That's covered in the page I linked to.

Re: download image not working

Ok, so getting there. I changed the htaccess file and I can now download.

However, the downloads are about 2-3 stops darker than the original.
Any thoughts on this one?

Thanks to all for the thoughts and help!!

They look exactly the same to me (at least the one I downloaded is)
