Upgrading from CE4 publisher+cart to Backlight and Cart

I Purchased CE4 Publishing Bundle+pages and CE3 and also later  CE4 cart and have been using the Galleries and Cart functionality for several years. Now I wish to upgrade to Backlight but only need the galleries and Cart functionality as I develop and support my own website.
Please can you tell me
1) what I need to upgrade to get the added benefits of  Backlight  in my Galleries and cart functionality.
2) How to find out my discounts as both my order numbers (305669477 & 0008577092) are not recognised on your upgrade screen, while Matt has indicated I qualify for a discount.
3) How to place an order giving me these discounts.

Re: Upgrading from CE4 publisher+cart to Backlight and Cart

Matt will have to answer the upgrade/purchase questions.

If you're still managing the rest of your site with CE4 and only want the the Backlight galleries and Cart, you just need Backlight and the Cart add-on. Be aware that the design between the CE4 portion of your site and your Backlight albums and album sets (including the new Galleries page you'll have) won't be an exact match.

There are migration tools included in Backlight to move your CE4 Publisher controlled albums to Backlight control as well as a migration tool to move your CE4 Cart settings to Backlight Cart.

You may run across incompatibilities depending on your set up. For instance, if you're using phplugins for drop-down gallery navigation in your CE4 site you'll find that it no longer works in your CE4-based pages.
Custom css for CE4 and Backlight will also be different.

Rod,

Are there migration protocols for CE3?

You would first have to migrate from CE3 Publisher to CE4 Publisher. Matt at one time mentioned providing CE4 Publisher to those making the CE3 to Backlight leap. I suggest emailing him directly.
