Do plugins work on all platforms?

Just about to purchase galleries, cart, proofing etc, can I confirm that the plugins work on all platforms ie:

Safari
Ipad
All windows browsers

I looked at the demo for the ce2 cart on my ipad and it does not show the 'purchase' on the image??

Many thanks
Barry

Re: Do plugins work on all platforms?

Hi Barry,

The cart isn't available on mobile devices like iPhone. However, if you disable the mobile gallery for iPad in the gallery setup (there's a setting just for that), then the cart is available. You can see that with your iPad here on a test page I have: http://www.barbeephoto.com/ttgpublisher … cart-test/

Mat probably has the demo gallery set to  Use Mobile Gallery for iPads

But yes, otherwise, the plugins are very compatible with all the latest browsers and devices, Matt's done a lot to make sure of that.

(do yourself a favor, and get Publisher too (currently compatible with Highslide, Horizon, and Client Response), it will make you life a lot easier, especially if you have lots of galleries to post)

Thanks Rod, but I still can't see any purchase info on any thumbnail or enlarged image on your test galley??

Re: Do plugins work on all platforms?

oops. My fault. I'd been doing some testing and had disabled the cart. Try it now.

The cart icon doesn't show up on the large image on the iPad, just in the thumbnail view.

Re: Do plugins work on all platforms?

Cheers Rod, that's now working.  One more quick question, when a client clicks on an image.there doesn't seem to be direction arrows / X etc like there is on the normal galleries, how does the client get back to to thumbnails?  Do you loose the photoswipe functionality when using the cart plugin?

Thanks again,
Barry

Re: Do plugins work on all platforms?

this particular gallery is a Highslide gallery in slide show mode (which I think becomes a Photoswipe gallery in the mobile gallery--but on the iPad, it's still Highslide). On the desktop you can either click the image again or there are controls in the upper right, including an X, to close the slide show.

On the iPad, you just tap on the enlarged picture again to get back to the thumbnails

Thanks Rod, I appreciate your time.  I will get publisher as well, thanks, I assume it works with the cart?

Yep, that gallery you were looking at was created using Publisher

Re: Do plugins work on all platforms?

Happy days, thanks Rod.  One last question I promise.......

So, if I buy client response, highslide gallery, the cart, auto index and publisher, load them into lightroom4, I can build all types of galleries using just publisher?

Sorry if that sounds like a stupid question but with so many elements to produce different gallery types it gets a little confusing........

Re: Do plugins work on all platforms?

Highslide, CRG, and Horizon are the three galleries currently supported by Publisher. AutoIndex is also supported and is needed to create Album Sets.
You can create as many of each of those as you like.

But if by "different gallery types" you mean things like the flash or html galleries included in Lightroom, then no. Just Highslide, Horizon, and CRG

Re: Do plugins work on all platforms?

I meant different TTG galleries Rod, such as client response, normal gallery and cart gallery.

Re: Do plugins work on all platforms?

You're all set then. Everything you mentioned works with Publisher.
