Pages for CE4 not working

I have loaded all the CE4 engines but cannot put any images into the browser work area.
I can select the images but they refuse to go onto the screen area.
All I get is a screen entitled Plugin Quick Reference for the CE4 Gallery and CE4 Pages in the layout style.
I loaded the TTG CE3 engines and put the same images into the browser and they all went into browser work area and I can view the gallery page in TTG CE3 Gallery.
Help please!
Have I done something wrong?

Re: Pages for CE4 not working

That's the Quick Reference. Go to Site Info > Now Showing (it's right at the top) and choose Page Preview from the drop-down

The Quick Reference guide also shows the location, near the top of the guide

Re: Pages for CE4 not working

Do you have images in the filmstrip?
You won't see any images on the individual pages of Pages until you assign images to them:
http://ce4.theturninggate.net/docs/doku … _filmstrip

You won't see a home page gallery until you set that up:
http://ce4.theturninggate.net/docs/doku … es_gallery

What are you hoping/expecting to see?

Re: Pages for CE4 not working

Thank you once again.
I thought I could drag and drop a few images into the Pages set up as per my quick trial of CE3.
Is their a way to turn off the quick reference as when i to from gallery to pages the Plugin Quick Reference page keeps getting loaded

Re: Pages for CE4 not working

Save your pages setup as a Web Gallery. In Lightroom 5 look at the top right of the preview area in the web module for "Create Saved Web Gallery".
when you come back to a saved web gallery all your settings will be as you left them.

If you just jump between one web engine and the next you'll always get the default settings, including the reference guide view.

Rod,

Thanks for the support
I purchased the CE4 Web publishing bundle
Do I need to purchase Stage to make a slideshow?

Re: Pages for CE4 not working

Pages will create a Galleria slide show all by itself (for a home page slide show, for instance). But this can only be on one page.
http://ce4.theturninggate.net/docs/doku … es_gallery
But if you want to be able to control a home page Galleria slideshow with Publisher, then you'll also need Stage.
And if you wanted to create separate pages or galleries that contain a Galleria slides show, you'll need Stage for that too.
