CE4 Gallery Permalink HighSlide and Metadata TOUCH

Is there a way to remove the permalink icon on the Highslide Show? http://revealinghomes.com/GA-ATL-MLS/HighSlide/

Is there a way to center the TITLE on TOUCH Large image presentation and remove the permalink and arrow pointing up next to it? http://revealinghomes.com/GA-ATL-MLS/Touch/

Also, I add a counter.php script to index.php and mobile.php. Is this the same as template_index.php now and template_mobile.php?

Thanks!

I would use phplugins to add a counter. This way you don't have to modify any of the php files.

Permalinks icons cannot be removed. The arrow should only be there when social networking, or other extra features are enabled. Your's doesn't seem to have anything, so I'll need to check into that.

Re: CE4 Gallery Permalink HighSlide and Metadata TOUCH

Okay, Thank you DL and Matthew. The website that is copy the link to has a policy that I cannot link from the webpage. However, I am doing one with Social media sharing too for clients. My question is, is there a way to eliminate the social media icons that I do not use? I left them blank in LR, but it still shows and defaults to the webpage if clicked. http://revealinghomes.com/onlinedeliver … istaDrive/

For sharing, it doesn't matter whether you use those networks or not. If you're going to allow sharing at all, then it's in your best interests to allow your visitors to share your content wherever they like to share things.

Hey Matt, Thanks for the reply. I am speaking of the Social Media Icons at the bottom that link to my social media sites. I don't use tumblr, VSCO  and RSS. One CE3 in LR I could erase the http link, and the icon would disappear. On CE4, the icon remains.

The fields need to EMPTY, not filled with taps of the spacebar.

Yikes!  Really?

They can't be removed from ce4 galleries at all?

That might cause me problems.

Why on earth would it?

You could use PHPlugins and custom CSS to hide them, I suppose. But I see absolutely no downside to having them on the page.
