"The page sent an action that was not available"

When I try to update the galleries as well as when I try to check the authentication in LR Classic CC 8.2 I get a message with the following content:

Unable to perform action: "checkAuth"  or "getSetupforTemplate"
The page sent an action that was not available.

I have updated the backlight modules as well as I have changed the API Code in Backlight as well as in Lightroom but the problem still exists.

I don't have any idea what the problem could be.

Any suggestions?

Are you upgrading from Backlight 1 Okapi?

If so, were you using Theater or Galleria album templates?

If so, have you updated to the Pangolin versions of those add-ons, created templates, and assigned them to any albums that were using the older templates?

Re: "The page sent an action that was not available"

I have already updated to Pangolin and everything was working. This problem seems to be a different thing. I have checked which template was chosen in LR and got again a error infirmation. I'm even not able to chose a template in LR. For me it seems to be an issue with LR. The website www.trustpage.de is running without problems

Are you using the latest Publisher plugin for Lightroom?

It's the version 4.0.7.

Re: "The page sent an action that was not available"

Oh damn, I have installed the publish service new and all my albums are gone. Is there a way to get them back?
At least I may have found the problem for the initial problem. The URL had an address with http instead of https. Now it is at least possible to get an successful authentication

The albums are stored with the catalog. Make sure you’re using the same catalog from which you created the albums

OK, they seem to be gone. This seem to be the sign which show me that I should update all my galleries. Some weeks ago, I thought I should do this in the next months. And now it's time to start with this task. Anyway, thank you for your support :-)

Re: "The page sent an action that was not available"

that's not a good sign. It could mean a corruption of your catalog.

Re: "The page sent an action that was not available"

I don't think so. I had deleted the publisher service in the publish service manager in order to activate in new. This way, I think it could be normal that the linked albums are also deleted. I should have thought about that before deleting it.

Re: "The page sent an action that was not available"

Albums can only be deleted if you delete them. Removing the Publisher plug-in won’t delete albums
