Morning chaps,
Just a quick question regarding LR Publisher version numbers. In LR the plugin manager tells me that the version is 4.0 yet within the admin console for Backlight Modules it is 4.0.1.
Should these be reporting the same version? Maybe it is a limitation of LR not to drop down to a tertiary number?

Hi Tom, the LR version shows up three digits when it actually has a three digit version number. There wasn't an update to the LR plugin, so it is still at version 4.0.0. We don't want to increment the number only for the sake of consistency and have users updating the LR plugin over and over for no actual change to the code. The trick here will be for us to communicate when the LR Publisher actually does not updating. The LR plugin is stable code, so won't be updated as often as the web components.
