First time adding cart issue

I have added the cart module to my web page and enabled the cart both in the pages and also by logging into the backend. It shows in the backend and when I run the diagonostics it says all is ok. When I view my web page I get no check box or option for selecting photos for purchase like in the demo files. What could I have wrong ?

One question I do have is since I already had a tag-be do I need to install anything from the download that came with the cart purchase?  The only thing I have installed is the cart folder itself. I did not add anything from the TTG-BE that came with the cart module.

Re: First time adding cart issue

To use the cart you must also be using a cart enabled gallery: CE4 Gallery or CE4 Stage. Do you have either of those?

Assuming you're using one of the Cart supported plug-ins, are you creating albums or are you exporting and uploading individual galleries?

can you provide a link to a gallery or album where you expect the cart to be working?

TTG-BE comes with Cart, Publisher, Pages, and CRG, you only need to install it once. Just make sure you're using the most recent version.

Re: First time adding cart issue

I have CE 4 gallery installed.

I have not exported any new galleries since adding the cart. I did not know if I had to do that or it would just add to albums already on page.t

The page is http://jgoodrichphotography.com

I was not sure where to turn on guest access to be. I can do that just need to know how.

Re: First time adding cart issue

Joe,

where do you have ttg-be installed? I should be able to access it here: http://jgoodrichphotography.com/ttg-be/

Guest access is probably already enabled. But look in the ttg-be dashboard under Settings > Magage Users

The few albums I looked at are not Cart enabled. You need to integrate the cart in CE4 Gallery for all your templates: Output Settings > Shopping Cart Integration:
http://ce4.theturninggate.net/docs/doku … ntegration

You'll then need to enable the cart  for each album in the Create/Edit Album dialog under the Integration tab.

Re: First time adding cart issue

public_html is the root folder of your site and shouldn't appear in your urls. In fact, if you click on that url you'll get a 404 Page not found error.

I should be able to got to http://jgoodrichphotography.com/ttg-be/ to access ttg-be

It might help if you can post a screen shot of what's in your public_html folder. It should be all your exported pages files and folders along with ttg-be.

(ttg-be should be installed at the same server level as your Pages files)

Re: First time adding cart issue

Rod ,

Sent you an e-mail with the folders listed in it.he few albums I looked at are not Cart enabled. You need to integrate the cart in CE4 Gallery for all your templates: Output Settings > Shopping Cart Integration:

Where  do I find the output settings / shoping cart integration ?

Should I just give up?

I clicked on the web tab in lightroom. Went to the section that said shopping cart integration and turned that on and also added the url to the cart.

Re: First time adding cart issue

In Lightroom > Web Module > CE4 Gallery > Output Settings control pane

I clicked on the web tab in lightroom. Went to the section that said shopping cart integration and turned that on and also added the url to the cart.

you found it then

you need to export and upload the gallery templates again so that the albums you make can be cart enabled. Also, be sure to enable the cart in the albums when you create or edit them in Publisher.

your screen shot shows everything in the right place
