Album Set password protection

Could someone tell me why the username and password enabled under Features (guest and obscured password) for each Album Set isn't required when accessing an album gallery?

Thanks.

Re: Album Set password protection

The email/password in client-managed CRG galleries supersedes the old username/password mechanism.

Hi Ben,

So username and password are disabled/don't work in Album Set Features?

Re: Album Set password protection

password protecting an album set is working for me. I've got a mixture of CRG albums (managed, publisher stand alone, and uploaded stand alone galleries) in an album set that's password protected.
You must first enable password protection in the template you're using.
