Hi All,
Somehow I am misunderstanding how tokens work for copyright watermarks. When I use {YYYY} or {YYYY|yyyy} in the water mark that is exactly what prints instead of the actual year in figures.
Any guidance will be much appreciated.

Our tokens are only for metadata appearing on the page, using Publisher to manage galleries.
For watermarking images, you should just choose "Edit" from the watermarking menu and use Lightroom's in-built options to create your watermarks.

What confused me was the refrerence to "the publisher" which I read as "the (TTG CE4) publisher!" contained in the paragraph presented below from your supporting docs:
"The rest of this page documents the template notation as it exists for the latest version of the publisher. As much as possible, we are mirroring Jeffrey's documentation, making changes where necessary to reflect current Publisher support.

A template is a combination of prose and special tokens wrapped in { … } that insert photo-specific items.
For example, the template Copyright {YYYY} {Artist}..."
Does this mean the {YYYY} token will only work if I get Jeffrey's plugin?

Those tokens are only for use when displaying metadata in a publisher-managed gallery. Tokens can only be used in the Publisher Setup > Metadata Tokens section of the plugin UI.
For image watermarks, the watermark control window is all Adobe. Our plugins can call it up, but cannot use it. Here's their help page, which is only moderately obtuse. =/
