CE3 Web Publishing Bundle

Hi
I'm thinking of buying this pack
http://shop.theturninggate.net/collecti … ing-bundle

But before I do that, I would like to have answers to some questions that I have.

The pages can be done so that the page looks like this
http://ce2.theturninggate.net/
When you click on the picture it will come up text at the top of the image, and a kind of navigation menu at the bottom.
I also want to delete all the picture and maybe just keep links and copyright text there.

Is it possible to add custom html codes?

Are there any restrictions on how many galleries you can have?
Is there a limit how many images you can have in each gallery?

I shoot a lot of sports and put up 200-300 pictures after each match. I was thinking of doing a gallery for every game, Is it possible?

Will this pack to be compatible with Lightroom 5?

Re: CE3 Web Publishing Bundle

The configuration of the page you're looking at has what's called the "Grid" on top and the "Block" on the bottom. The Grid on that page is featuring a Photoswipe gallery. You can choose to display the grid or not. You can put the Block above the Grid. In the grid you have several options for content.
You can also choose to display the Block or not. In the block you can have text, images with text, text formatted with html.
All the TTG plug-ins are very customizable and very flexible.

There are no limits to the number of galleries you can publish.
The Gallery plug-ins have, I believe, a limit of1000 images if you use the traditional upload method. However, if you use Publisher, the only limit would be any practical limits placed by the functionality of web browsers. In other words, too big of a gallery could crash a browser and make your visitor click away. A gallery of 200-300 won't pose a problem.

You'll have no problem with putting up as many sports galleries as you like.

The plug-ins are compatible with Lightroom 5.

Rod
Thanks for your reply.
I am very eager to buy this package, but I'm not sure when I'm not so good at computers. Do you have to configure their web site? or is it only to send the files? I have One.com and they are running PHP version: 5.3.23 so it is well not be a problem?

Re: CE3 Web Publishing Bundle

Hi Sara,

All you should have to do is upload the files you generate from Lightroom (via FTP). The only server side settings you should need to make will be to set folder permission for Publisher using your FTP program. That's all set out in the documentation.

You don't have to be good with computers. You do need to know how to use Lightroom and an FTP program (like Filezilla).

Re: CE3 Web Publishing Bundle

Matthew -> Thanks for the link! Is there a manual in Swedish?

I use a Mac but can not find info if it works on a Mac, but it does it well? Will be allowed to install on more than one computer?
I often have my laptop with me when I photograph, and it would have been good if you can install it on both.

I run both with LR 4 and LR5 Beta, you can have it installed on both?
I will change the hard drive on my computer a bit later, it is no problem to install it on the new hard drive, you get an installation file that you can save and use repeatedly?

How to do if I want to use the payment on their side? must be tied up with a payment system?

Is it possible to edit meta tags such as keyword and description?

I usually lay hidden <H1> <H2> <H3> <H4> <H5> <H6> at the bottom of my pages
just to get better search results on the page, it is possible to do so without prejudice to the outcome when you look at the page in the mobile or tablet.

Are there any sites that you can check how it looks on mobile, ipad etc. .. ?

Re: CE3 Web Publishing Bundle

We do not have Swedish documentation, sorry.

Plugins work on Mac and Windows, and in LR4 and LR5. You can install on more than one computer.

Yes. http://ce3wiki.theturninggate.net/doku. … page_setup

I usually lay hidden <H1> <H2> <H3> <H4> <H5> <H6> at the bottom of my pages...t is possible to do so without prejudice to the outcome when you look at the page in the mobile or tablet.

You can do it. You can do just about anything you want. Whether it's good practice is debatable.

Matt's got several examples throughout: http://ce3.theturninggate.net/
You can look at the Showcase topic for more examples: http://community.theturninggate.net/for … -showcase/
more ttg ce3 sites: http://ce3.theturninggate.net/ce3-showcase/

Re: CE3 Web Publishing Bundle

Hello.
I have now bought CE3 Web Publishing Bundle, and are very eager to get started!
But I do not really Installation Instructions (my English is not so good)
So I hope someone can help me here?

I downloaded the following files
TTG CE2 Auto-Index-531.zip (1.2 MB)
TTG CE2-High Slide-426.zip (1.6 MB)
TTG CE2-Pages-525.zip (3.3 MB)
TTG CE2-Photoswipe-116.zip (1.3 MB)
TTG CE3-Auto Index 606.zip (416.7 KB)
TTG CE3-Auto Index Enabler.zip (50.7 KB)
TTG CE3-Gallery-506.zip (477.5 KB)
TTG CE3-Pages-606.zip (910.8 KB)
TTG CE3-Publisher-1110.zip (111 KB)
TTG CE3-ViewportSizer.zip (66.2 KB)
and packed them up, it was 8 pieces lrwebengine
and 2 folders TTG CE2-Page-525 containing 2 lrwebengine Files and TTG-CE3-Pyblisher-1110 containing 1 pc lrwebengine and publisher folder containing yterligare 4 folders.

When I read the installation instructions it says that a file should be named TTG CE3-CRG.lrwebengine but it has not.

How do you install? Should I copy all unzipped files to Users / username / Library / Application Support / Adobe / Lightroom / Web Galleries / then double click on them?

I changed the password in the php file and set value to true.
I have created a publisher folder on my hosting directly under root

Please help me! I am so eager to get started :-)

Re: CE3 Web Publishing Bundle

No double-clicking. Just unzip the files, then copy to the location specified in instructions.

Everything ending .lrwebengine goes into the Web Galleries folder.

Re: CE3 Web Publishing Bundle

Thank you Matthew !
This was not easy :-)
I have created the following mappr on mn website.
publisher and galleries in folder galleries was the permission 775 and I bent in the execution of all files and directories
What I do not understand is what I use?

if using TTG Pages CE 3, the target folder will typically ask the / galleries folder.
If using CE3 TTG Auto Index, you May use any auto index folder as your target.
If using neither TTG Pages nor CE3 CE3 TTG Auto Index, you May create an empty folder to use as target.

Should not I use all three?

I feel I'm way over my head when it comes to installing it. Can you put it in a subfolder on my webhotel? I know that this will take time before it is finished and I do not want my website to be down in the meantime. Thought create / tggsajt and test run from it, I feel I can. Would that work?

When I read the installation instructions it says that a file should be named TTG CE3-CRG.lrwebengine but it has not.

That's just an example. The thing to know is to not rename the files.

Re: CE3 Web Publishing Bundle

Thank you for showing patience with me!
Now I have come a long way and managed to upload the page to my website, but when you look at it, it looks like you are not experienced with the css files. The only visible are the links and some text, everything is placed to the left of the page. What have I missed?

What are the files locally?
When I press CMD + R, it takes about 25-30 sec before the page is updated! Is it normal for it to take so long?

depending on your system's speed and the number of images you have in the filmstrip, it can take awhile to reload. There is a lot going on behind the scenes and Lightroom needs to rebuild the entire page every time you reload.

Re: CE3 Web Publishing Bundle

That's with TTG CE3 Pages; the other plugins should reload more quickly, as they have less to do.

Re: CE3 Web Publishing Bundle

Hello. I only have 7 pictures.
Can we do anything to speed it up, it is difficult to work effectively when it takes so long to refresh the page.

Today, communication is an update to TTG-CE3-Pages-606 it is at 909.5 kb
that I downloaded when I purchased the program is 910.8 kb
Contains the latter any changes?
