I'm not sure if this is intended or not?
I have a hero template, when publishing an album from within Lightroom you can only select your cover image once the gallery has been uploaded which seems odd that you can not select which image to use from the filmstrip?
So it ends up being a bit of a 2 stage process, upload the gallery then you have to go back in and edit the gallery to select your cover image and then republish..

that’s because the album needs to be published before Backlight can know about it. You can’t chose the cover image before publication because Lightroom needs to communicate with Backlight to see what’s available.
