BL3 Publisher 5.0.1 Lost Lightroom Albums

I just did the recent update to Blacklight 3 v3.0.1 and everything went fine. I downloaded the LR Publisher Plugin v5.0.1 and in the process of installing I inadvertently deleted my previous version of the LR Publisher Plugin and lost all my Album Sets and Albums in Lightroom Classic. All Albums and Album sets are on line and functioning. However I have no way of accessing now through Lightroom. If I add in the newest Publisher Plugin it starts out fresh with none of my albums. Any Ideas on how to reconect my online albums Sets and Albums to my Lightroom Classic?

Thanks, David O

Do you have a backup of your computer's data?

Re: BL3 Publisher 5.0.1 Lost Lightroom Albums

deleting the plugin should not delete your albums in Lightroom Publisher, those are stored in the database.
only if you’ve deleted the TTG Publisher instance that contained those albums would they be removed.
Hopefully you have a recent catalog backup

Daniel, I do have a recent backup. I haven't dived into that. I will check tonight. Thanks

Re: BL3 Publisher 5.0.1 Lost Lightroom Albums

Rod, I believe I did delete the (wrong) Publisher instance. I'll check my LR Backup. I was not sure if those albums were saved in the backup. I did not want to change anything until I had confirmation that they should be in a backup. I thought I had heard that collections were not stored in the LR Backup. Maybe I heard wrong.

Thanks

Re: BL3 Publisher 5.0.1 Lost Lightroom Albums

Collections are stored in the catalog, so a backup of the catalog should include collections.

What's not stored in a Lightroom backup are things like preferences, presets, metadata templates, etc. (if you have presets stored with the catalog, then I suppose they're backed up)
It's a good idea to do a separate backup of the Lightroom folder (location varies depending on your OS)
