Thanks Rod. I was in a hurry and forgot that step!

I thought all was well until I tried to access my image galleries. I am getting this error:

Warning: require_once(./../../backlight/framework/Framework.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/trummonte/montetrumbull.com/galleries/03-seascape/lib.php on line 48

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required './../../backlight/framework/Framework.php' (include_path='.:') in /home/trummonte/montetrumbull.com/galleries/03-seascape/lib.php on line 48

I made sure to copy the .htaccess file into the Backlight directory.

It had been a while since I checked the forum and ran across this. Thanks so much Barry and Rod. I appreciate the compliments!

Hi TBC/Margo. I checked out your site this morning and am not seeing any images in your galleries. Am I missing something?

Thanks Matthew. I will play with that. Appreciate the quick response!

Hi guys. Thanks Daniel for reminding me I meant to get back to that! I played with it this morning and got things to fit nicely down to about 360px. What would be nice is to be able to target the social media buttons in the tray and turn them off on smaller displays. That is what I did on my previous version. I can't see a way to do that because the li itself does not have a separate class that I am seeing. Would that be something that could be changed in the future Matt?

I have updated my website to use the latest Pangolin templates and am really impressed. Matthew and Ben have done an outstanding job on this release!

It was just recently that I updated my site to Backlight from CE4 and I spent a lot of time developing my on version of the top pallet. This release made it a breeze to setup and the end result is a lot cleaner. I love the Justified gallery style since the majority of my images are mainly landscape orientation.

Take a look and let me know what you think: https://www.montetrumbull.com/.

Thanks again to Matthew, Ben, and Rod.

After working on it in spurts and constantly changing things every time, I finally settled with a final design and converted my CE4 to Backlight. I love the new tools and workflow in Backlight. Thanks again to Matt, Ben, and Rod. You are the greatest!

#14 Re: Backlight Support » Album set template not formatting correctly » 2017-04-01 05:29:26

I finally had a chance to play with this and got it working by deleting the Backlight folder, replacing it, and setting things back up. As for the CSS, I have been using Cloudflare for many years. When I am working on the site, I always disable it so changes are immediate, and then turn it back on later. Thanks for the help everyone!

Hi Rod. Both width and height are at 300px. I will try copying new Backlight files later.

Thanks - Monte

I am using the Classic layout, 300px thumbnails, 6px margins, max 4 columns. I have played with all different settings and changed layouts as well. I also exported a template and imported it and that didn't work. I am travelling now, but will give Rod's idea of copying Backlight files over when I get a chance.

Thanks guys - Monte

Hi Rod. That is set correctly to the only template available.

This is driving me nuts. I have my main site pretty much done and converted to Backlight, but a separate site I have for family photos is not behaving. The site is on another subdomain. I copied the entire backlight folder over and got everything setup correctly on this subdomain. Publisher is working and the albums are displayed as I want. The galleries page however will not show more than one column of thumbnails. I have created a couple of new templates from scratch and deleted the old ones and nothing changes. What I am doing wrong?

I have the cart widget showing up where I want it in my top menu bar whenever there is something in it. I was wondering if there is a way to always have it visible?

#21 Re: Backlight Support » Changing Page Title on search link pages » 2017-03-21 22:38:13

That would be great Ben. I did some testing last night and found that the window.open function doesn't work on a lot on mobile browsers.

Along those lines, it would be nice if the search page had it's own class to be able to identify say just the h3 class. What would also be great is if you could use also tack on the search title to the end of the search query.

Thanks Ben!

Still working on my new site...

Like before, a bunch of my menu items for the galleries are just hrefs passing along search criteria. I would like to be able to set the browser tab title for each separately. It works using the window.open function as long as I allow it to open in a new window. Not sure if I am happy with that. Do you have any ideas?

You can check it out at https://portfolios.montetrumbull.com/. The Recent Additions gallery works in a new window. The Locations > Rocky Mountains gallery does not when opened in the same window.

Thanks!

Looks great Rod! Someday I will get mine finished (only started on it back in the fall!).
