Guys, can I just confirm that when updating my current ce3 CRG, Gallery and Auto Index with the new updates, I just:

Delete the previous version in lightroom/web galleries.
Then insert the updated files to replace them.
If I then go in to LR and use my existing user templates in the template browser (on the left), I am all done?

Thanks
Barry

Thanks Rod,
My site is a Wordpress site so I'm only using the plugins in LR4 to produce standard galleries, carts and client response galleries (some with auto index).   So I don't think my site or any galleries that I have published will be affected, do I have to reset all the panels on the right from scratch or can I just update the new version with my existing templates in the template browser?

I have a few weddings to publish so once they are done I will have a go at updating them, I just hope it doesn't go horribly wrong!!
Thanks again,
Barry

Is there an 'idiots guide' to updating to newer versions?  I am around 3 versions behind but I am loathed to update as I have everything working great and I would hate to cock it up and have to start from scratch.

Any help would be gratefully received .........

The latter.

I thought that would be the case!

I understand that some dislike disabling the mouse right click, but I am fed up with having images stolen, albeit low res images.  I have the phplugin script all working now and the right mouse click is disabled, however, I note on my iPad that I can still double tap images within my galleries and save them.

Is there a way of stopping this on the ipad or am I just I left with the option of a huge copyright watermark across the centre of every image?

I would just like to thank this forum, in particular Matthew and Rod who have guided me through the set up for the TTG plugins.  I now have everything working just great (cart, auto index, CRG etc) and I doubt I could have got these up and running without their help (and patience!!).

These products are just brilliant, they do exactly what I want them to do and they work like a dream.  I was sceptical about Publisher, how wrong was I !!  It makes life so easy, and this combined with Auto Index and the Cart is a must...

Thanks again guys, great product - great forum.......

I meant different TTG galleries Rod, such as client response, normal gallery and cart gallery.

Happy days, thanks Rod.  One last question I promise.......

So, if I buy client response, highslide gallery, the cart, auto index and publisher, load them into lightroom4, I can build all types of galleries using just publisher?

Sorry if that sounds like a stupid question but with so many elements to produce different gallery types it gets a little confusing........

Thanks Rod, I appreciate your time.  I will get publisher as well, thanks, I assume it works with the cart?

Cheers Rod, that's now working.  One more quick question, when a client clicks on an image.there doesn't seem to be direction arrows / X etc like there is on the normal galleries, how does the client get back to to thumbnails?  Do you loose the photoswipe functionality when using the cart plugin?

Thanks again,
Barry

Thanks Rod, but I still can't see any purchase info on any thumbnail or enlarged image on your test galley??

Just about to purchase galleries, cart, proofing etc, can I confirm that the plugins work on all platforms ie:

Safari
Ipad
All windows browsers

I looked at the demo for the ce2 cart on my ipad and it does not show the 'purchase' on the image??

Many thanks

OK, thank you, I'm not getting at you I'm just frustrated!!

I think i will just buy the highslide and photoswipe galleries first and get them working, I assume once I have done that I can buy the rest to get the cart side of it working?

Thanks
Barry

#17 Re: General » Help please with what I need » 2013-02-04 02:04:09

Thanks Rod, that's a little clearer.  I will keep reading, I wont buy anything until i am confident to use it, although I am finding the instructions somewhat annoying and frustrating and it would appear I am not on my own judging by some of the comments on this forum!

Is there a reason why there are no videos showing how to use these products backed up by the existing written tutorials?  I know I want/need the plugins but.......

#18 Re: General » Help please with what I need » 2013-02-04 00:31:06

Thanks Rod, I appreciate that, but most of the links are relevant to web design.

I don't really need that, I just need to know how to install the plugins to Lightroom and use them on my existing server.  I'm sure its all really easy when you know what you are doing, I'm really surprised there are 'no how' to videos for such a good product?  A picture paints a thousand words.........

The second link in the FAQ doesn't work by the way....

#19 Re: General » Help please with what I need » 2013-02-03 23:26:07

Thanks Mathew for your swift response.  Regarding Auto Index, if I, lets say, produce 3 galleries, pre wedding, wedding and post wedding image galleries for the same wedding the client would see all 3 galleries as in your link?

are there any 'idiots guides' videos to set up and use these 4 products?

Thanks again,
Barry
