Hi there,
I want to set up my Cart on Backlight 2 with PayPal. Is there an IPN (Instant Payment Notofication) integration supported in Backlight 2, and is there more information on it?

I do not know what really was the reason, but I also had problems uploading new Albums. So I reinstalled the publisher plugin and tried again. Then at least the upload of the new galleries worked. Maybe I've done something wrong installing the plugin.
I used this Weekend for Upgrading all my Galleries by hand as described. I thought there should have been a possibility of "Upgrading" by the Plugin Manager but it didn't show up as it did from CE3 to CE4.
For now I'm done with upgrading ...

... ok this issue is solved as follows:
I redownloaded the "correct" publisher plugin from https://get.theturninggate.net/install/ … r/release/
The previous download from the modules Link inside the Backilight Admin Page did not work correctly ... or I made a mistake installing it.
However ... now it works.

Hi there,
I want to create a new Album, formerly a CE4. I need it to be a private one, this means the possibility to check Username and Password. But it's greyed out in Lightroom Publisher Album Settings.

When I create the Album and then go to the Backlight Admin settings:

Backlight => Publisher => Galleries => Add Album Set => Features => Visibility => "Protected - requires access code"
then Features => Access Code => Edit

This is possible to access.

Is there some setting inside a Template to allow this feature in Lightroom Publisher?

Hi Ben, this was it. I restarted Lightroom and the browser, relogged in and was able to change the API Key. Thanks for this idea.
I think this is the solution.

yes, the ttg-be is still where it was before I upgraded, but the website of ttg-be is not accessible anymore.

Something has been missed in the upgrade and the API key (and other settings) are still in the Publisher database, taking precedence over the value that’s in the Admin database. Can you email me a Backlight admin login so that I can clean this up for you?

... sent ... Can you please give me an update for what you have done to solve this issue?

the "updated" Galeries I have online, do not show up in the Lightroom Publisher for Backlight. They still reside in the CE4 Publisher.

The API key needs to be changed in both Backlight and in the Publisher plugin. Have you changed it in both places?

.. sure I did ... But it can't be changed online in the Admin settings. It uses the initial setting when I installed it. It seams "hard coded" wink

I am about to upgrade from CE4 to Backlight.
There seems to be an issue moving the existing galleries inside Lghtroom from CE4 Publisher to the new Backlight Publisher.
I migrated the CE4 to Backlight inside the Backlight Admin on the Website. So the Galleries are visible on the Admin page, and also on the website itself.
I then move all images from a CE4-Publisher-Gallery to a new Backlight-Publisher-Gallery inside Lightroom.
Then I delete the respected CE4-Gallery in Lightroom. But the Gallery is the still bee seen on the Gallery Page of the Website -but without content (404).
I have to manually remove the CE4-Gallery on the Admin Page of Backlight.

Is'nt there a more workflow-like style of doing this?

It's really hard enought to migrate all the styles I had in CE4 for my Galleries site. This is really no fun for more than 10 Galleries. And you have to do this for each type.

Hi there, I got the same problem. I installed Backlight "quick & dirty" and as I wanted to change the publisher Password, it won't work. Only the default Password I provided when I installed Backlight workes. I can't change the password in the Admin page of Backlight.
