Hi everyone,
I just upgrade Backlight 1 to version 2. I followed the procedure described on theturninggate.net site.
My galleries pages are working properly. But my Home page, Contact page and About page don't work. For these three pages, I have a 403 Forbidden message. I don't understand why, because I have upgraded the databases and after Album Files ?

Thank you Ben. Perhaps this "Language" field should be removed in Backlight ?
In Backlight > Publisher > Settings menu, I edit settings. In the Language line, I switched to edit mode and wrote "Français"...

I now know where the problem comes from : I haven't migrated my site from CE4 and I haven't changed manually the language setting in the database. But I recently put "Français" in Publisher Settings menu in Backlight (by editing the Language field in Backlight) ! That was my mistake.

I just remove and re-upload backlight/modules/standard-album and clear template cache as well as browser cache... the problem persists. I don't know how to do it anymore.
Could a database be corrupted?

My website is running with Backlight 1.1.1 version since 2016-11-27 exactly. As Rod suggests, I've already cleared template cache several times.
Do you think that the last solution would be to remove and re-upload the files and directories of Backlight 1.1.1 (by following the steps of updates) ?
I have modified all fields in Designer > Templates > Localization menu to translate the navigation buttons text (infotips) in french. I tried several times without success. I don't understand where is the problem...
Thanks Rod for your help. I think that before downloading a fresh version of Backlight (perhaps the Framwork module would suffice), I will wait for the opinion of Ben or Matt.

Yes, it's the latest version of Backlight (V.1.1.1). I install it last december.

In Manage Localization menu, I translate all the fields in french for my website. I use the Photoswipe template, but after rewriting the fields and clearing the template cache, nothing happens on my site in Photoswipe slideshow : the text of the buttons hasn't been modified.
Would anyone have an idea?

Hello community,
I would like to include in the tray 1 of my album page a specific text and image, but only in my main album page, not in the other pages of my photo album (in trays 1). It's here : http://www.alpes-sud-photos.com/galleries/
The problem is that I can only write text and images in the Designer\Templates\Album Set Templates\ menu of Backlight. If I write something in this menu, the text appears in every pages of my album photo... And I haven't an entry by Publisher for my main page.
Would anyone have an idea?

I go well in the design of my site through the forum. I use a custom stylesheet in CSS file.
In my stylesheet, I would like to use :hover Selector to highlight the thumbnails of my album sets, but I haven't found the name of the corresponding class.
In general, is there a list of "id" and "class" describing the corresponding elements?

I solved my problem on my own by recreating a page template... Strange all the same this loss of text data in all my main columns and field names in the contact form. If you have any ideas, thank you.

I think that something doesn't work in my page model: in all the pages of my site, I just realized that the text of the main column has disappeared ! I had to modify something that was not necessary in my page templates, but what... I'm afraid to have to recreate a new page template.

I encounter some problems with my contact form : on the page, the masterhead no longer appears, my text in the main column has disappeared, the fields are no longer named ... This problem appears only on the contact form page. I tried with a new contact form, I have the same problem. I also tried to clean the cache : nothing.

I didn't find a way to insert metadata in large image presentation. I only found a Metadata Display in backlight menu /Design Template/Album Settings/Thumbnail Presentation/ for thumbnails but nothing in Large Image Presentation. I tried to change presentation type in Large Image Presentation (like Single-image Pages) but in this case, only the complete file name appears (and I don't want that)... I would like to use Photoswipe presentation type... Would you have a solution ?
