Thank you Rod. It works now. Time to upload images and later on explore what more features can be used to get  the optimium appearance of the galleries and how galleries can be created within a gallery. E.g. countries\America\Africa\Europe ... .

For my website the Video from Matthew https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rP-fR_ja4o  was very helpfull. I like to watch the video step by step on a pad beside my computer and carry out the settings according the demo for my own site. One ore more Videos which explains each step more in detail to establish a 1st Website would be helpfull. Beside that I did appreciate very much the informations Matthew and Rod are giving and the shared informations in this community.

I use publisher to show galleries under the Gallery pane.  When I open a Gallery there it didn't take the settings for background / logo etc.  as defined in CE4 pages. Under CE4 autoindex\Output Setting  I have enabled  (x) get shared resources from TTG CE4 pages. In pages, Gallery and Autoindex I have assigned the now (!) released site www.fotobrun.ch. What  could I try else ?
Getting an image beside the home pane to the about pane too works now. I didn't use the same film strip.

Thank you rod for your answer. I could add the desired contents inclusive Hyperlinks with Markdown. A helpfull tutorial was https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6A5EpqqDOdk and as you did mention, Markdown is an easy to learn tool with a good user interface.
An open item remains to add an image in the "about" pane. Since I add the images for the "home"-pane directly with the images in the film strip it seems not possible to assign another image to the "about" pane with another film Strip. My test environment: www.lr.fotobrun.ch. At an older thread from 2016-01-16 you did recommend to upload images to the "home" pane directly with publisher. So far my attempts to succed this way wheren't successfull.

I did try to add an image into the contact page. I placed an image from the image strip according the instructions in \Color palette but after doing another amendment on the home page it was it was gone. What  means "get image by id" ? Beside that I can't add a nicely formated text to the services page. Adding a hyperlink seems to be a mission impossible too.  Exploring the community it seems that adding such contents it's necessary that I have to learn how to use a html editor. Is that really true ?

It works! Thank you Rod. I appreciate your help and patience very much. It's tricky to find the setting for Auto Index in Pages. After the album Shows up now under index Gallery I have only to find out how to set up a Gallery under Index home (if possible with Publisher too).

Hello Rod: "That should be easy to fix. In Pages Appearance > Autoindex, assign the autoindex to the Galleries page"
Are your refering to the root adress in Autoindex ? Under Appearance in Auto Index I don't see a way to set an adress.
Should the root adress direct to the template folder  \TTG-BE\templates\Gallery\my-gallery ?

Thank you Rod for your answer. Deselecting the pics and exporting the entire folder worked fine. On my demo site http://fotobrun.cyon.link/  I have the problem that the galleries appear under index Home and not under index Gallery. I did upload the template named my-gallery to /ttg-be/templates/gallery/. The template my-gallery appears in the Publisher Settings, search template which seems to be o.k.. The adress for the LR Publishing Manager is http://fotobrun.cyon.link/ttg-be/publisher/. I was not able to set the adress to http://fotobrun.cyon.link/galleries. Error message: "unable to find Publisher. Please check if the API URL is correct". On LR I have installed Auto index, Auto Index eraser, CE4 galleries, CE4 pages, CE4 theme for Wordpress, CE4 view port sizer. How should I proceed ?

Thank you Matthew for your response. I did restart to set up the whole thing again.
The instruction for installing the CE4 Publisher Online Component says:
"Next, you should create a template using CE4 Gallery (or CE4 Client Response Gallery). Select a handful of images in your filmstrip to help with design visualization, configure the gallery to your liking, then export. The exported template will not need the selected images, however, so feel free to de-select all images from your filmstrip before export to minimize the template's footprint; the template will upload faster, and take up less space on your server. "
I think here I am doing wrong and just a question from a beginner: creating the template is in this case a) with "Export" button at the lower right of LR or b)  to create a template browser ? a) would confuse me since I would expect using "Export" will create a new gallery. And a 2nd question how can I de-select all images ? From a collection one image remain allways active.

I was able to create a basic Website with ttg-be, CE4 Publisher. With CE4-gallery and Publisher I see the Gallery nicely on LR preview, but until now I am not able to publish it correctly to the Website. I have followed the instructions of TTG beginners quide to CE4 Web Publishing. LR didn't get an error message when i did upload some pic's with the CE4 Publisher but  the gallery doesnt appear on the site. May be it's just a question of folder structure and target information. What is confusing to me is that that according TTG the Gallery Folder must be located within /ttg-be/templates/Gallery/  or for example Rod Barbee says /public_html_folder/galleries. Can somebody give me some informations how to get further or provide a link ?
Thank you. Christian - Switzerland (waiting for snow and nice weather wink )
