Hi Rod, I do not see any difference between the settings "overlay Album Info NO" on the hand and "overlay album Info YES" / "overlay animation ALWAY ON" on the other hand.
My goal is to have the overlay animation for example "fade"on both desktop and mobil device.

For the autopindex I selected the iconic type. I enabled the album overlay info, works fine on desktop. Any way to show this overlay Info also on mobile devices - if the settings for desktop are not changed?
Actually I do not get the album overlay info on mobile devices. Are there any additional setting for the mobile behavior?

to be honest , i do not understand:
above the filmstrip occurs the information that e.g 2 of 7 images are selected, but all 7 are used for preview and export in the web module.
Where do I have to make the selection selected photos?

I wanted to create a new template to be used in the publisher, so it deselected alle images to keep the exported file size small, BUT ALL images are exported.

since today following issue occurs:
as an example:
in the filmstrip I have 20 images and only ONE of them is selected.
Preview and also the export in LR uses ALL images in the filmstrip!
Any idea?

After enabling ssl certificate on my webspace and now reaching my site via https:// ... I have the following issue:
Cart buttons are greyed out / inactive.
Starting my site via http:// ... it is still working.
I' m not familiar with this topic.
Do I have to make any ssl related adjustments in the card admin console?

one further question in this context:
is it possibly to offer a discount code / a coupon to only selected products assigned to a pricing scheme?
for example only for digital downloads and not for prints.
If not - any workaround to achieve this purpose?

I have set up different prices for several print sizes.
in case 2 A3 prints are chosen the shipping cost should remain 6,99€, but the calculation is as follows: 2*6,99€=13,98€ - because of reaching the max limit shipping costs of 11,99€ are displayed.
I do not need min and max values, I only want to setup different shipping cost for different print sizes regardless how many prints the customers chooses
Any Idea how to achieve that?

I prepared some nice custom thumbnails for a gallery. They are only displayed following this url:

on a desktop device. Due to smaller grid dimension on mobile devices only the "standard" thumbnails are shown.
How can I achieve to display custom thumbnails all the time regardless of the devices which are used?

Ok, now I understand the purpose of write in buttons (not to be used in connection the images because the is no link to the images)
this point is nethertheless strange:
I tested a write in button on a page with a gallery template although you stated that this will not work.
Buttons work regardless ot activating cart functionality in publisher settings or not.
Not sure what you mean. There is no filename attribute in the button code.
I did not mean a filename attribute in the button code. The overview you saw when you got the message "Pending file preparation" has left hand a column Filename with no input in the cell. Even after uploading (via cart admin) the file this situation remains unchanged.
In Cart Admin | manage | edit: I can upload a file. Where is this file stored on the server?
I did a search on my server: the files could not be found. I do not really understand this function "upload file"
