#1 Backlight Support » Login first time trouble » 2018-04-17 19:02:18

After just been playing around with Backlight for some time, I decided to get serious. Downloaded the latest update, deleted all the old backlight-content on my server (hosted by one.com), uploaded new files to my server: brogaard.com/backlight.

Now in the folder:

.ht.access
index.php
galleries (folder (777))
backlight (folder (777)) - the backlight/data folder is also 777

Problem:

When I access brogaard.com/backlight I get this:

Backlight is not yet configured. Please login to Backlight to continue.

Clicking on the login to Backlight-link just reloads the page.

Have tried it ut on both Safari and Firefox.

The earlier version worked fine - although it's merely half a year since I last played around with it.

Any clues will be greatly appreciated!

I was hoping I just forgot a setting. The web engines are all copied into the appropriate folder as you describe in the documentation.

First time I opened a TTG- web-engine (CRG or Highslide - CE2) I got a short message that LR CC doesn't support flash, then a short image of the gallery I was about to generate - and then the main window went blank - although the panes all functioned as before.

The exactly same thing happened when I installed CRG CE 4 yesterday.

I am having multiple trouble with LR CC - it won't import video files and every once in a while it has to be rebooted. Spent hours with technicians from Adobe, who wants me to install LR CC in a new user account. Trying to avoid that as it means I will have to move everything to the new account. And without any warranties that the problems are solved.

The Adobe-guys told me they are having a lot of difficulties with the new LR. Maybe this TTG-issue is one more of them.

Sorry if this is a trivial question. Upgraded to LR CC, IMac 5K, yosemite. In webmodules only a blank screen shows when I load the TTG-plugins. I can still edit the panes and export the galleries - just not see the changes live in LR. Thought it was because I am using old plugins (ce 2) and bought CRG CE 4 - same problem.

OK ok, I have got the point and am in the progress updating my old CE-website to CE3. In my old web-engines I had the option to create buttons - not anymore?

OK Matt - thanks for the reply and thus I am motivated to move to CE3. Hopefuly some other service turns up - I think I remember way back in 2009 you supported a few more services?

It seem as Fotomoto is going out of business. Which leaves me with hundreds of fotomoto-enabled galleries. This situation can't be underestimated, as my clients will keep on trying to order pictures and might even succeed en making payments.

Have anyone knowledge of other companies doing the fotomoto-thing? And Matt - is it possible to make some kind of work-around so all Fotomoto-galleries are redirected - or any orders are directed to me?
