Publisher is working and boy is it nice. I followed the directions in the change log: Replace the ttg-be/publisher/application directory, Login as admin to ttg-be/publisher/admin, Replace the CE4-Publisher.lrplugin, and restart Lightroom.
Now I want to get the file name off each image as it appears on my site. Here's what I've done. Updated publisher and TTG-BE as described above. Output settings>Publisher Setup>deleted everything in all the settings. Nothing is appearing in "Metadata Outlets". Image Info. > Labels> Title, Caption, metadata 1 and 2-all unchecked. Then rendered and went to the template "update the with current settings".
In Library>Rt. click on TTG Ce4 Pubisher>r>Edit Settings>Publisher Manager>Other publisher options> checked "Push metadata without existing photos">Save But it doesn't allow me to save. In fact on left side "TTG Ce4 Publisher is listed as "not saved". I then published and as stated it works well but the file names are still there on all images. How do I get rid of them?
Just so you know where I'm headed, after the filename problem gets fixed, I'm going set up an account with Fotomoto.
If you want to take a look, here's my site: http://www.martinjenichphotography.com/
Any ideas?

You've stated in the past that you can't save your Publisher settings. This seem odd. Can you try creating another Publisher instance and see if you can save that. You can either have it publish to your /galleries/ folder or set up an empty test folder for this.
You should be able to have as many Publisher instances as you want and you should be able to save and give them a name.

Did you also export and upload the template to /ttg-be/templates/gallery/, overwriting the existing one?

Here's what I did and the outcome. 1. I made a new gallery the old way i.e. In Web> rendered>exported>uploaded (Filezilla) into galleries. The images did not have the numbers on them. That's what I want. 2. Then I tried to do publish the same gallery using publisher. I got the images with numbers on them-back to square one. I think I can conclude the problem is some thing to do with Publisher-correct? 3. I uploaded a third gallery to ttg-be/templates/gallery and nothing showed on my site. 4. After I uploaded the gallery in 3, I tried to publish again using publisher and got the images with numbers again. I did it because you suggested I do so, and I thought it might have made some difference.
It seems to me you are probably going to recommend I try creating another publisher instance as you stated in communication 27. I'm going to need more direction on how to do that. It seems you are suggesting that I do something to test a hypothesis. I not only don't know how to do it, even if I did it I would not know how to interpret the results. Might it be better for me to start completely over. At least I could use the directions I used the first time. I know I would lose at the settings, including the port settings that Blue host gave me, but at least I would have some semblance of understanding on how to do it. What do you think?

Which numbers? file names?

Can't tell with the information provided. Are the settings in Image Info and the Publisher Settings in Output Settings the same?
3. I uploaded a third gallery to ttg-be/templates/gallery and nothing showed on my site.
what did you do with this template? did you create a new album, apply it to an existing album?
4. After I uploaded the gallery in 3, I tried to publish again using publisher and got the images with numbers again. I did it because you suggested I do so, and I thought it might have made some difference.
And you used this gallery as the template?

basically it's just like you created the first one. Just right click on your existing Publisher instance and choose "Create Another Publish Service via TTG CE4 Publisher"

This is just to see if you can save a Publisher setup. You should be able to. If you can't, then it may be a Lightroom problem.
I know I would lose at the settings, including the port settings that Blue host gave me, but at least I would have some semblance of understanding on how to do it.
I don't know what this means. You shouldn't need any port numbers to set up Publisher.
Frankly I'm starting to lose track. Let me confirm what the current problem is: you can't remove the file names from the thumbnail metadata?
You have lots of albums on your site and I'm not sure which to look at. Can you provide a link to a single gallery that is exhibiting the problem?
In fact, can you start a new thread for this specific problem?
I did look at a couple of albums and I noticed that those I looked at are not using the latest version of CE4 Gallery. So while you're at it, you might as well update to the latest (6.1.5)
