I can't find a way to do that.
It looks like the first sub becomes a flyout and the rest dropdown. See our Menus vs Our Events. Is there a way to make them all dropdown without a flyout?
Yes, I guess I made them all main menu items. I will work on it again.
Thanks for that tip. Now all the dropdowns are showing on the main nav bar even though I assigned them to main nav bar items.
This is truly confusing. I created a menu listing all the items from the original site and made it the default but it does not display on the site. I edited the Default menu down to just Home and that is all the displays even though it is not the default menu. ARGH!
Rod,
I have started with BL2 with this development site http://corvette-photography.com/TestBL2/
I am trying to replicate my old site http://lesmarmitonsnj.com and have created all the top bar menu items and some of their pages but they do not appear in the test site. What am I missing?
Also, the dropdown that does appear is a flyout rather than dropdown. I can't find a place that fixes that one either.
I have not yet migrated any albums.
Thanks,
Paul
I sent Ben a note yesterday with a link to this post but no reply yet.
No. I could try that if you think it might work. I need to get this working again because I am getting a bunch of complaints about the failure of the CE4 galleries.
It looks like the error in ttg-be admin is in the admin template.
I am seriously thinking about switching to backlight. I bought backlight1 and built a sample gallery but never got off the ground with it. I assume I should just buy backlight2 and start from scratch with that version. I have many questions, mostly regarding how to preserve my current color scheme, header and menus, plus migrating the non-gallery existing pages. I sort of freeze at the thought of all that work.
This is an inspection of the blank screen.

No, just a blank screen
So do you have any idea how I can login to ttg-be admin? And how to get my site running under php v 7.2?
Under ttg-be/data/publisher is mastersq3 274MB that must be the database
I first did only parsedown in two locations and SimpleHTMLTag and that did not work so I uploaded the admin and framework folders and could not login to admin. The screens is blank.
Where do I find the databases?
Congratulations to both of you. i think I still have pieces of my websites that I built with your first program in 2007! That was when you were in photography school in Texas (I think). It's been a hell of a ride, even though I fall off the wagon every few years only to climb back on when things change (like php v7).
Keep up the good work.
Best regards,
Paul
I just did an update of ttg-be using the instructions that came with the zip file CE4-TTG-BE-205a.zip. It did not clear the php 7 error and I cannot login in to admin. The screen stays blank.

Any thoughts?
I installed the two files (Parsedown and SimpleHTMLTag) that I downloaded in February.
As I recall, that did not work for the CE3 galleries, which is why it is a hybrid site.
My site is a hybrid of CE4 and CE3 galleries. (I know, I should have fixed the CE3 problem years ago, but c'est la vie!). Lunarpages is now at php v 7.2 and they have removed v5.6 altogether. I tried the replacement of Parsedown and now have two problems.
1. The CE4 galleries still return the error message caused by php v7.
2. The CE3 galleries run fine but return this message at the top of the screen: Deprecated: Methods with the same name as their class will not be constructors in a future version of PHP; Markdown_Parser has a deprecated constructor in /home/corve3/public_html/lesm/publisher/api/lib/markdown.php on line 191
How do we fix that one?
Thanks,
Paul
My service provider (Lunarpages) just announced that they will be replacing PHP 5.6 with v 7.2 in March. I use CE4 Publisher to maintain the galleries in three sites. Can you tell us if this will still work?
Ctrl-f5 did the trick.
Thanks,
Paul
I tried Opera and everything worked fine. All the garish colors I set up are there along with the round corners on the borders etc.
I did the same in Safari.
Something is going on with Chrome.
This is strange. I can see the colors on my cell phone but not on my PC. I have the home page set to auto-refresh and do a Ctrl-R all the time also. I will try another browser.
OK. You are seeing the colors but I am not. ????
I did that too. I noticed a new template for each time I saved changes in Designer. I cleared them all out. I used the Designer clear cache and went in through the ftp client and they were still there so I deleted them there again.
I added another Album and republished. No changes to the appearance. I sent you a user ID and PW for backlight administration.
I extracted the files again and uploaded them to the server. I then made some very garish color changes to see if designer was working, but no, nothing appears to change when I refresh the site. Am I missing something? Should I republish the site from LR?
