Wonderful. Awaiting with giddy anticipation.

I use the Full-screen "Flip" Gallery for my website home page. Unfortunately, the only way I have found to update or reorder the images is to re-export the entire Pages website. Tedious and tends to limit how often I update the home page.

Now, my wishlist, a way to specify a particular galley as the source for the home page images preferably with a way to manually or automatically assign a sort order. Random like the auto-index thumb nails would also work well. Then I could update as often as I wish using Publisher.

For example, I have a Publisher gallery called '1_featured images' which contains all of the Full-screen "Flip" Gallery images. A way to point the Full-screen "Flip" Gallery here and leave only the images needed within the actual site design in the Pages image and thumbnail sub directories would be ideal.

My migration last year from CE2 to CE3 took a lot of work. I spent significant time converting my CE2 look and feel to the various plug-ins in CE3, including a number of Publisher templates. Looking forward to CE4 but not so much in terms of potential time required for the transition. Do you plan to include documentation to smooth this process along?

I suspect this blog is a WordPress blog and really like the "pun stopbots" plugin. I have been clobbered by bot new user logins to the degree that I have been forced to turn off new users.

Is this WordPress?

Suggestions for "pun stopbots" or similar for WordPress?

Similar plugin for new users?

Thanks Rod. www.whcc.com looks like a viable option. I don't usually store high definition images on my site anyway and for each sale I had to provide Fotomoto with appropriate resolution images. Your suggestion adds little in terms of my work flow. The more I think about it, the new option may actually shorten the effort needed.

Occasionally, a bit of upheaval forces us to step back and reexamine the status quo and results in significant improvement. My thanks.

I am sure FotoMoto has created a number of palpations today. Thanks to Matt, I was able to intervene in short order; otherwise I may not have noticed the problem for some time. My site is primarily a repository for friends and family and to date the only photos I've sold were to my wife ... a bit of a "sad puppy look" may have been involved.

Enter the magic of Publisher. Several months ago I questioned my sanity as I doggedly went through over a hundred galleries and converted them to Publisher. I persisted and converted them all.

Today the effort paid off in spades. In little over an hour I updated a total of 6 Publisher templates by disabling the Fotomoto option and moved the templates to the BlueHost directory. The ill-fated Shopping cart is gone!

At least my VERY few customers are protected from a potential fraud.

Now the issue of what to do with the missing shopping cart. I suppose I could almost as easily install CE2 Cart and again update my templates with CE2 versions (may not be as easy), but .... I think I'll wait for the CE3 Cart.

Now the real issue is that for a casual user, more nerd with a camera than anything remotely professional, is how to replace the simplicity of a fulfillment service .... I do not have the infrastructure to serve as my own fulfillment center, but may have to consider options. Thoughts here would be appreciated.

In summary, thanks Matt. My empathy to all who are actually making a living in this racket.

I am in the process of upgrading my site from CE2 to CE3 and found a collection of photos which would not display on the website. The dreaded white frame with a red 'X'

Took an hour but discovered the problem. It seems Windows 7 and later are perfectly happy with punctuation in the file name, LR and Publisher also are without complaints. ... But when a gallery is published with these characters something is lost in the translation. For example, "St. Peter's church xxx.jpg" is translated to "St.-Peter\'s-Church-xxx.jpg" The '\' appears to be a legal character on Bluehost but....

Word to the wise. Don't to there.
