#76 Re: Backlight Support » Galleria Fade Time » 2018-06-01 00:26:37

Thanks makes it look a lot better, 350 wasnt realy a fade just a slow cut

#77 Re: Backlight Support » Galleria Fade Time » 2018-05-31 18:10:03

Can the fade speed or slide speed be changed on a normal album?

#78 Re: Backlight Support » CRG Gallery Automatically Logged in » 2018-05-31 17:23:07

The login appeared to fix itself when I added another client to that album. The ID11 issue was the Clinet Response Template, now fixed. Thanks

#79 Re: Backlight Support » CRG Gallery Automatically Logged in » 2018-05-30 17:45:29

I am also getting this message "Unable to find pageTemplate with ID 11. Try updating the selected template for the application. in EngineFactory.php on line 71" but not all the time

I have just created a GRG gallery of a recent photoshoot. As far as i can see everything is setip correctly. The GRC template has the addon applied. Client Setup and assigned and the Manage by GRG admin set in lightroom. But the Album is unlocked when i go to it. I can logout of the album and log back in. But if I logout and then return via te gallery link the album is still open. Any ideas. I have done this before but not with Pangolin (I think) un fortunatly after the Client responce stage is over I change the Albums to a normal album with lightroom set password so I dont have aniother to check

#81 Re: Backlight Support » Work on site offline » 2018-02-02 07:12:31

Dont know if this will help.
I have both my sites (one is a sub-domain) as separate sites on my laptop. Running independently and in full in separate virtual domains. Both have backlight installed.
They each also have separate Lightroom Catalogues, so separate publisher configs. I always publish locally, this enables me to add images when I am away etc.  But it does mean I always have a fully function website of my own locally.
I then use a sync program, in my case Goodsync, to sync each domain folder on my host (a backup sync)
The only trick I found was to use a local url. Then when the upload is complete, immediately logon to the remote site and change the site URL in settings and clear the template cache.
May sound complicated but once setup and the workflow are in place it is no problem. It also allows me to experiment without worrying about the live site. Just make sure you have backups of the local and remote site so reversion to a previous state is possible.
As I use CRG I had to do a little extra by adding some exclusions for the CRG db.
I have tried other methods i.e. changing publisher URLs but had confusion problems.

Now solved also checked it by turning on short tags. Will leave the <?php in though as i have yet to upload to my ISP

#83 Re: Backlight Support » Getting started with Galleria - got an error... » 2018-01-17 07:22:14

That fixed mine, Thanks. Will now start confuring the gallery properly.

#84 Re: Backlight Support » Getting started with Galleria - got an error... » 2018-01-17 05:57:40

I also noticed the red error message sometimes there and sometimes not. Usually after i have either logged in or logged out of Backlight admin, cleared the cache or closed then reopened the browser. Tried to find a reproducable patttern but as of yet have not.

#85 Re: Backlight Support » Getting started with Galleria - got an error... » 2018-01-17 05:18:27

Exactly as previously posted at the start of this post but  45 replaced with 35
Unexpected error: Undefined variable: thumbnails in galleria-pangolin.php on line 35

#86 Re: Backlight Support » Getting started with Galleria - got an error... » 2018-01-17 03:37:21

cleared the cache, it has become an automatic process these days.

#87 Re: Backlight Support » Getting started with Galleria - got an error... » 2018-01-17 03:00:27

Also tried the fix and it did not work. The publisher plugin is the latest. Also re copied just to check prior to republishing. Sorry cannot provide a link as my workflow involves a local website prior to uploading in case of issues like this

The error is now on line 35

#88 Re: Backlight Support » Getting started with Galleria - got an error... » 2018-01-16 18:52:11

I am having exactly the same problem. I have completly republished the images, inc. new images. Changed as many settings in the template and I still get the same error in red atb the bottom of the screen.

#89 Re: Backlight Support » Download Images Via Publisher files size » 2017-10-02 00:44:30

Thanks finally found correct php.ini and change accepted. Did not try it as using publisher for downloads still left a watermark on. I only want watermark on screen images downloads need to be clean for client printing

I am trying to provide some download images. I have set the template to manages via publisher I want the images to be 3000px but when I publish I get the error message regarding files size allowed in php.ini. I cannot find the lines to edit in my php.ini. I am on a Mac with php7 I found the php.ini file using phpinfo.

How do I increase the file size, or how do I use the other download options ie. do it manually.

#91 Re: Backlight Support » CRG Feedback clear so client can start again. » 2017-08-15 18:11:28

I have Close Feedback and clear browser set. When I reopen the feedback session and log on as the client the feedback is still there.

Basically, I emailed the client the login details but forgot to attach instructions so they have given feedback but it is confusing.

#92 Re: Backlight Support » CRG Feedback clear so client can start again. » 2017-08-15 03:05:42

They still work thanks, also tested them on my Pangolin test site and they also work there.
Any Idea how i can clear feedback from a CRG gallery

I want to clear the feedback selections, comments etc.but without losing the old feedback. Is this possible? I have done it in the past but only by deleting the feedback. Also is there a way of starting a session with all album images selected so the client deselects the ones that they are not interested in?

I cannot remember nor can I find the method/code to get the site to automatically update as I am Editing the site. I usually have two browser windows open so that I can see my changes as soon as I save them. However, I am currently having to refresh the page manually. Can you please remind me about the code I need to use and where to put it.

Last time I used it was when Backlight first came out

#95 Re: Backlight Support » how to install new Backlight 1.2 Pangolin? » 2017-07-01 01:59:02

The upgrade instruction says delete okapi core yet with that gone I get an error. If I want to continue using my pages don't I still need the OkapiCore (I put it back and it works) With Okapi gone as assume I have to delete the none pangolin pages. This bit need a little more claification

#96 Re: Backlight Support » Additional Images » 2017-05-29 18:59:03

Just found the cause of the problem. All the images left in the Albums yet not present in Lightroom publish collection were missing from the Lightroom catalogue they had been deleted (not sure how or why but that is my problem). The issue, therefore, is if the image is deleted without being removed from the publish collection it stays in the album and is not removed nor can it be removed without the process above. This could cause an issue if file cleaning is done at file level not collection level

#97 Re: Backlight Support » Additional Images » 2017-05-29 17:14:23

Thanks that appears to work although a pain to do. Unfortunately, I then checked my other albums and out of 18 more 5 had similar problems. I would like to know the cause in case it is something I am doing.

I have just been updating my images and the watermark. When i went to my Album I found some imagesw that the watermark had not changed. Upon investigation, I discovered that the published album had 96 images but lightroom had only 90. They are images, that I have removed some time in the past, I think.
How do I remove them?

Just going through lightroom and changing the copyright dates in my presets. Then thought of Backlight templates. I noticed it said copyright start date? what is the purpose of this, what does start date infer or mean?
