Has anyone else experienced the search function working perfectly on IE and Chrome but NOT working on Safari, specifically Safari on the iPad? Any feedback or suggestions would be appreciated.
I'm confused how to configure autoIndex when using publisher. I have several questions.
1) Must my autoindex directory, containing my galleries/albums, be in the gallery directory?
2) Where do I put my autoindex template? The documentation says put it in /ttg-be/templates/autoindex. When I configure my publisher autoindex entry, all I can see are templates I stored in the /ttg-be/templates/gallery.
3) Once I create an autoindex publisher album, where will it put it? From what I can see, it looks like it puts it in the gallery directory. Is that correct or can I change it? See question 1
FYI: Currently, I have one menu item (Special Occasions) pointing to the gallery directory. I have a second menu item (recipes) pointing to my autoindex directory (subordinate to the root directory or at the same level as gallery. Here's my current directory structure:
/
/autoindex
/fragments
/galleries
/lib
/photos
/phplugins
/search
/thumbnails
/ttg-be
/ttg-be/admin
/ttg-be/data
/ttg-be/framework
/ttg-be/publisher
/ttg-be/templates
/ttg-be/templates/autoindex
/ttg-be/templates/gallery
Also, in case it helps, here is the url to my website as described above. www.williphotos.com
Thanks in advance. Ron's answers to my last question(s) were "spot on" and cleared up my confusion. Thank you.

Let me start off by saying I love CE4. Great work Matt. Publisher and Search capabilities are my favorite features. Fantastic.
I have a question regarding the homepage gallery/image. I see from the documentation the default is picking images to appear on the homepage or you can use publisher to manage the images that appear there. Here's my question. When using the publisher method, does the gallery it creates fill/replace the entire homepage or just appear as the gallery on the standard homepage? I like the idea of using publisher to manage my homepage images but I also want textual content. Can I have both?
One other question. I've created and posted a preliminary website (www.williphotos.com) which I'm mostly satisfied with but it is a work in progress. I'd like to continue making "tweaks" to it before declaring it done. I know I'll be adding an additional menu items and cart capabilities as well as minor cosmetic changes to pages (mast head, text context etc.). Here's my question. When I made changes in the past (prior to CE4), I deleted the changed portions from my website, exported the new content and reposted the new files. It was tedious but it worked. Now with more things interconnected in CE4 (tte-be, publisher etc.), how do you recommend updating changes to my website? The publisher is a godsend for managing galleries but I'm struggling on how to update the pages portion of the website without deleting everything and reposting. I'm hoping you can suggest an easier way. Thanks. Bill
I'm sure this is a simple thing but how do you delete/remove an image from a Publisher managed gallery? Adding images is easy but I can't figure out how to remove an image I no longer want in the gallery.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Bill
Matt,
Sorry but I may be over looking your email address. Where should I send the information you requested?
Bill
Matt,
I'm interested in upgrading to CE4 from 3 but I see from your announcement message I need my original CE3 order number.
Unfortunately, I can't find it. Can you help?
Thanks,
Bill
