#26 Re: CE4 Pages » Customizing Pages » 2015-07-22 08:58:44

I did enable php when the pages and gallery were uploaded. I then followed the instructions to get the server path and this is what came back: /data/17/2/46/142/2535142/user/2777916/htdocs/CE4/phplugins
Does this look right?

I think I'm getting there. But I would like to customize the header and footer for the all the pages, and I would like to customize how the images and titles are displayed on the gallery page.

I would like the header and footer to be the same size and font as on my existing website: www.johnthackerphoto.com
My CE4 website is at www.johnthackerphoto.com/CE4/
Can this be done by editing the style sheets only or does it require knowing php? If so, any recommended sheets to customize?

For the gallery page, I would like something much closer to the page on http://www.brunocauwe.net/galleries.php
I really like the way the images and titles are displayed.

Just trying to find a path that will get me closer the basic layout of my current website, but with a really great looking gallery page.

I'm having difficultly understanding how to popular albums on my portfolio page. In Lightroom the portfolio page looks like the screen shot at screenshot

But when I export and upload to my server, the Portfolio page only has the header, nav, and footer. I used CE4 Pages to make the pages. And I have know idea how I got the albums to show up on the Portfolio page while in Lightroom. The website as far as I've gotten is at

Thanks a great idea of keeping the site on the WAMP server. I'll do that as well.

I purchased the CE4 Publisher Bundle. I have installed the web-engines and templates in LR cc. The template I'm using in CE4 Pages - Pale. After customizing the template and saving as a new template. I clicked the "Preview in Browser" button in the Web module. FireFox launched but did not show the expected file.

I received the following error message:
Firefox can't find the file at /C:/Users/user/AppData/Local/Temp/AgWPGExport-3/index.html.

I checked the AgWPGExport=3 folder and indeed there was no index.html file only and index.php file.

Is there a configuration problem with LRcc or CE4? Please advise.

This is my first attempt using CE4 to make a home page. Not having the preview capability will be a set back in my ability to build my site.

I'm a newie to TTG and CE4. I would like to start with the web publishing bundle to get my website up and running. Then I would like to add a blog. Do I need to start with the Blog and Galleries Bundle then add Pages? Or can I start with the Web Publishing Bundle and late add a Blog later? If so, what additional products are needed to add the blog?
Thank you
