Problem solved. I changed emails from google and smtp format to just mail (my website email) and it works fine now.
Thanks. Rod
ok, thanks. will work on it a while longer. May just just change my email as well. Only the Russian is using it anyway.
ok, will try that next,
thanks
here are my email settings:
Mail Send Type: smtp
SMTP Host: smtp.gmail.com
SMTP Username: oceanman22@gmail.com
SMTP Password: [hidden]
SMTP Port: 465

Nothing in spam. I did not get your contact email, just the community email about your reply. I have been getting some Russian emails not sure about what, but they are getting or were getting through. I am using google mail.
When I send an email using the backlight "test Email" I get an email. When I go to my contact page and try to send email it responds positively but I don't get an email. Any suggestions? I have check the settings and they are the same as summary of settings on Test Email
Thanks
Jim
Thanks again Rod. Backlight is great.
It works.
Ok, I got it figured out. When I created a Pangolin album I did not select "Theater" the first time. I had selected "album" I now it the presentation types showing. I think I may have it now. But no assurances yet that I won't be back.
Thanks Rod
can you send a screen shot of where you found this ?
Definitely not. Wish I did.
Yes I found it last night. The problem is that when I follow those instructions I do not get the following when create or modify an existing Theater Add-on
Set Presentation Type: Video
Set Video Source: “Vimeo” or “YouTube”
I am definitely missing something obvious but can't figure out what
The main reason I purchased the Theater add-on was to occasionally link a Youtube video to an album in my website. I have seen and read references here that it can be done but nothing specific enough for me to figure out how to do it.
Help appreciated.
Thanks
I think I got it. I had to create a Pangolin page and after that I had a choice for the Pangolin album. I'll work is more but this should do it. I found a previous instance listed on here
I copied the Pangolin-theater folder into backlight/modules on the server but when I go to the Backlight Album Templates and try and Create a new template there is a no choice for Pangolin Theater in the Type drop down. Only "Backlight Standard Album". I installed today's update and everything seems to be working fine after that and then I did the install of the Pangolin Theater.
Help appreciated
Jim
Thanks for your help. I got it now. Was having a senior moment there.
Jim
Thanks for the quick reply.
Ok, I got the current download but I am somewhat confused on which update procedure(s) to use because of the the release #nomenclature. I am currently showing that I have update "TTG Backlight version: 1.2.2" on my Backlight Dashboard.
Now what procedure steps in the instructions do I follow to get from 1.2.2 to to 1.2.3 release 2 ?
Jim
I am not getting or can't find the usual download links in the notification emails..
Thanks
I currently have a site that is functional but it needs some fine tuning and/or overhaul and I don't have the time or interest in doing it myself. I was wondering if there is someone out there that is doing Backlight site setup or design assistance for a fee? If so, please contact me.
My site is:

Where is the download link for backlight 1.03 update?
I updated from the Backlight which was running fine. The only thing I can think of is that during the recent backlight updating I did, at one point I closed lightroom and there was something going on that prevented me from closing lightroom and I forced a lightroom shutdown. Later I realized that that Adobe had an update it was trying to install which I did install later. Anyway, I republished the inaccessible albums and all now seems well. More than likely it was an anomaly caused by me when updating.
Jim
If I create a new album in lightroom and use the same photos I can get to the publishes album. I guess I just need to follow that procedure for the remaining problem albums.
I updated to the latest Backlight version last week and thought everything was working fine. Did a test pulblish etc.
Now I find that when I try to reach 6 of my galleries I get the error "ttg-be could not be found". I completely republished one of the problem galleries(Portugal) but it did not solve problem. Any suggestions.
Jim
After much analysis and experimenting, I installed Firefox and have not had a delayed access since.
Thanks for all the input.
Good to hear about the fast loading. I renamed the folder and no adverse effects.
I use Ipower.com and I am in a que now to talk to them. I don't know of any accelerators that I am using.
I also reinstalled the update since your reply and I am still getting delayed loading.
I did install the index.php which was in the update package. I realized later that it was not required. Could that have made a difference ? Maybe I will find out something from Ipower support if I ever get connected. The fact that you experienced it means that it is not my computer or local network?
I noticed a folder in the root public.html called "site_images", I assume that should be there? it was dated when I did the original Backlight install.
Thanks for your quick reply.
