#26 Re: Backlight Support » <ul> bullets not displaying » 2017-09-10 02:05:38

This seemed as good a place as any to ask this question.. How does one control the size of the font inside of a bulleted list? Would that be a custom CSS item? Placing a ## in front of each <li> tag breaks the list spacing.

edit:
It isn't pretty, but this seems to work:

<li style="font-size:19px">Bullet text</li>

#27 Re: Backlight Support » probably a dumb question about thumbnails » 2017-07-26 09:17:33

Can you also use the custom CSS in a similar fashion to increase the font size? I switched to using one of the nice Google Fonts, but the size is tiny on my album thumbnails.

Edit: Nevermind.. I got it!

p.album-title {
	font-weight: 500;
	font-size: 20px;
}
p.album-description {
	font-weight: 500;
	font-size: 18px;
}

#28 Re: Backlight Support » FontAwesome Icon, Text, and Image on same line? » 2017-07-26 08:48:55

I think that I've got it how I'd like it. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge!

#29 Re: Backlight Support » FontAwesome Icon, Text, and Image on same line? » 2017-07-25 12:01:09

Thanks Rod!

I took your suggestions and combined them.

<div class="grid_12">  <!-- this sets up the 12 column grid -->
<div class="col_8 push_4" >   <!-- this sets up the 2/3 width column -->
<img src="http://www.divinemayhem.com/sandbox/NEWSITE/photos/Info_Image.jpg" width="400px" class="alignright" style='border:1px solid white'>
</div>
<div class="col_4 pull_8">   <!-- this sets up the 1/3 width column -->
<h1><i style="color: #81A276;" class="fa fa-info-circle fa-lg"></i> Welcome to DivineMayhem Studios!</h1>
</div>
</div>
<hr />

The only thing that I'd like to change is that the text splits when the browser is resized to and below 700px (inner) / 715px (outer) wide. Is there a way to force the text to go entirely below the image if that size is reached? I'm uncertain if this is the correct terminology, but a "breakpoint" of sorts?

I've just about got my Backlight site tweaked to where I want it but I'm stuck on one thing that I liked about CE4. In the CE4 Pages layout,  The Home, Galleries, Services, Info, About, and Contact pages had the option of including a Page Image that would show in the Primary Content, Float on one side, the other, or the center, and could be width adjusted. I want to have this in my Backlight pages as well, but attempting to mix HTML and Markdown isn't looking that elegant.

Here's what I was working with on the CE4 site:
http://www.divinemayhem.com/info.php

Here's what I currently have on the Backlight site:
http://www.divinemayhem.com/sandbox/NEWSITE/dms-info/

It works, sort of, but I'm wondering if there's a cleaner way of implementing it without using all of the hard line breaks or the (possibly) unnecessary <span> and/or <div> tags.

That section of the Main Copy is as follows:

<span><div>
<img src="http://www.divinemayhem.com/sandbox/NEWSITE/photos/Info_Image.jpg" width="400px" align="right" style='border:1px solid white'></img>
# <i style="color: #81A276;" class="fa fa-info-circle fa-lg"></i> Welcome to DivineMayhem Studios!
</div></span>
<br><br><br><br><br><br><br>
<hr />

As always, thanks for the assistance on this!

That was it.. I missed putting a # before my hex color.

Thanks again, Rod!

I'm looking to change the color of the button on the Submit popup dialog. I have enabled PHPlugins and have already modified my custom CSS for another (similar) function. I have been instructed to inspect the page that the popup is on to see what area of the CSS I should modify. I'm afraid that I'm a little confused as how to determine exactly what I should add to my custom.css file to change the button color.

Here is a screenshot of the inspection:
dJJnQ40.png

Previously I wanted to change the background color for the popup box for the Cart and I added the following line to my custom CSS:

.mfp-content #modal {
    background-color: #7A7A7A;
}

Looking at the inspection, I'm thinking that the .crg.modal is the correct "neighborhood", but I'm wondering if I should get more specific and put:
.submission-form.crg-modal

or

.crg-actions button.submit

Does anyone have any suggestions?

#33 Re: CE4 Cart » Color of text and/background in cart popup dialog » 2015-05-18 13:09:35

OK. I got it all working for the cart popup background.. now where would I look to change the color of the box that the "submit" text is in for the Client Response Gallery? (or should I ask this in that topic section?)

#35 Re: CE4 Cart » field names and terms not showing up » 2015-05-18 11:56:01

I will apologize in advance, but it still appears as though the name of the EXACT file and location have been omitted from this post.

There are several modal.css files in the cart folder.. (One in \cart\lib\css and one in \cart\resources\css). Adding the line

.mfp-content #modal {
    background-color: #333;
}

To both of them didn't seem to do it for me. I also enabled custom css (or at least I think that I did) by removing the:

/* DELETE THIS LINE

and:

DELETE THIS LINE */

from the cart's template in \ttg-be\templates\gallery\cart-default\phplugins-sample\css\custom.css

What am I missing?

Thanks!

I can't seem to find where to change either the cart popup dialog text color or the background color of the box. My issue is that there's text that is unreadable as it is the same color as the box background. Can someone point me in the right direction.

#37 Re: CE4 Cart » Change order of products » 2015-03-11 08:31:49

How about custom ordering of attributes, or at the very least, alphabetical or numerical order?

On my Edit Product page, items are in numerical order by size (ascending). On the Manage Pricing Scheme page, they are all over the place. On the Add Item to Cart, they are in numerical order ascending with the exception of the 4"x6", which is last.

#38 Re: CE4 Cart » Open Question - How do people deal with selling different aspect ratio » 2015-03-04 11:09:42

I sell standard prints (2x3 ratio) and panorama prints. I have my panoramas listed as "custom sizes available" at $0.00 and give clients a quote on their preferred size. Since my panoramas aren't all the same shape, I would have to standardize them or have a different pricing scheme for each shape. Nightmare.

I'm really happy to have my CE3 site converted over and utilizing the wonderful features of CE4. I am using the Web publishing bundle plus cart, stage, and CRG. I have to say that Publisher managed galleries are the best thing about this plugin suite. I can't imagine life without it now!

Anyway, here's my new site:

#40 Re: CE4 Publisher » Moving directories with Publisher » 2015-02-22 07:30:56

Ah, maybe it was that I didn't move the actual galleries. I figured that if I marked them all to republish, then it would just upload all new ones.

#41 Re: CE4 Publisher » Moving directories with Publisher » 2015-02-22 01:52:56

I believe that I have found a solution, albeit messy. I deleted the publisher folder in ttg-be and replaced it with a freshly downloaded copy. I deleted the publisher folder in the ttg-be/data folder as well to clear out any residual gallery sets and galleries. I then created a new publisher instance in Lightroom and have been copying the title, description and Page MD test into new sets and galleries. I had hoped to preserve the test site's structure, but I can clear it out as well and use it simply for testing new galleries.

If there is a way to successfully relocate a publisher instance from a subdirectory to the root (essentially) of the site, I'd love to hear about it. I thought that I had it figured out in my head, but it didn't work out the way that I had expected.

#42 Re: CE4 Publisher » Moving directories with Publisher » 2015-02-22 01:13:26

My main site is http://www.divinemayhem.com and my test site is http://www.divinemayhem.com/test

I received SQL errors when I attempted to edit and republish sets and galleries from the relocated publisher instance.
Here is one:
J5qKhIr.png

I've resolved that I've made some horrible mistakes and now I'm wondering how to completely remove the publisher history from the main site and start fresh.

I am not sure if this is possible, but the previous times I've started a post like this, I've been amazed with the results.

I created a 'test' site in a sub folder named /test/ to build and polish my ce4 site while my ce3 site stayed up. Now that I am ready to archive the ce3 site and replace it with the ce4 site, I find myself at a loss as to easily move all of my published galleries 'up one level' by removing the 'test' sub folder.

I used notepad++ to 'find and replace' all of the instances of /test/ with / and I re-exported all of the pages, gallery templates, and stage pages. I copied all of the ttg-be stuff over to the new location. I had hoped to just adjust the address in the publisher service and have it republish.

That was not the case as I have gotten many, many errors.

Any magical solutions?

#45 CE4 Publisher » Managing video with publisher » 2015-02-13 02:23:28

I came across  a post in the CE3 Stage section where it was hinted that Publisher could (and should) be used to manage video pages. Is there any documentation available for this? Currently I've been attempting to use a separate publishing service to create the hierarchy of the gallery, but I'm not sure how I would use Publisher to manage the actual video pages themselves (Stage pages).  With CE3, I (very clumsily set up manual autoindexes to each separate video (Stage) page. If there's an easier way, I'd love to hear about it!

I don't think that there's an easier way to do this, but I didn't think that it would hurt to ask.

I have created a spreadsheet with all of the settings and values for the CE4 Pages, Autoindex, and Gallery. It was a ton of work to capture. Is there an easier way to get the common values transferred to other pages that I have to build? Stage and CRG, for example? I don't want to rely only on the "Share Resources". Even if there was a way to transfer the basic settings (colors, paddings, margins, etc) it would save a lot of time.

Does anyone have any solutions?

#48 Re: General » Missing options for Web Template » 2013-12-06 08:21:54

Rod,

My specs are:
Lightroom 5.2 64-bit
Windows 7 64-bit

I'll have to report back if the rescaling the side area works. After a reboot it appears to be working again. (no resizing done)
I hope that it never happens again, but if it does, I'll attempt the rescaling approach.

I'm not sure if this has been addressed anywhere in the forum. I did a brief search, but couldn't find anything to help.

Periodically I will start Lightroom and jump over to the Web module, load my saved template, and when I scroll down through the options, some of them are "missing". The space is there, but the text/sliders/boxes are cut off. Here's an image that illustrates the issue:

Missing_options.jpg

It happens whether I load my saved template from the left or load the default CE3 template from the top right of the module. Exiting Lightroom doesn't seem to fix it either.

Has anyone else experienced this? Anyone have suggestions for a fix?
