#2 Backlight 3 Support » Theater link to Youtube gives error "An error occurred. Please try.." » 2020-06-05 00:36:10

I am trying to link to a video I posted on youtube using the theater plug-in, but get the error: “An error occurred. Please try again later. (Playback ID: 1KxsT1JXGGlF5p2t)”
In backlight I created a new template called “video” in the presentation section I specified presentation type as “Video” and Video Source as “YouTube”.
In Lightroom I already had a TTG publisher set up to publish to my site (http://jblaskyphotography.com/Jerry/) I created a new album within this publisher, chose the just made “video” as the Template. For Video ID I put http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8j4b4ENrgU
I also added one still photo to the album. When I go to my website, the still photo shows as the album cover. Opening the album brings me to a large square outlined in white with a play button in the center. However, clicking this button gives the error “An error occurred. Please try again later. (Playback ID: EiSdkQOyLXsunBvE)”

What am I doing wrong?
By the way, pasting the video link into a browser brings me to the proper youtube video.

You are correct. The problem was that I set the Lr Publisher option 'Push metadata without updating existing photos'. The watermark option in LR now works. Also as you discussed above LR/Morify 2 does not work. But the built in LR watermark is good enough for what I want to do. Thanks for the help.

I'm using the Lightroom Plug-in with Backlight 3 and wish to add a watermark upon uploading photos to my website. I can successfully add a watermark when exporting to my desktop, in two ways. Either by checking the Watermark option in the LR export dialog, or, I have a plug-in called "LR/Mogify2" which allows text to be put on the image. Both work fine when exporting to desktop, but not when using the TTG plug-in to publish to my website. I have tried Edit settings for the TTG publisher to the website to include the Watermarking option and also the LR/Mogrify 2 option. Also have gone to the individual album and done Edit Album And selected one of my watermarks under the Watermark to apply option (one of the ones marked "Global"). None put the watermark on the photo published to my website. Any ideas?

I miss named an album in LR publisher. I renamed it in LR, and republished meta data only. The title on the web did not change. Do I have to delete the album, and then create a new one with the correct name? It's a large album. I'm using Backlight.
