The setup seems to be fine - WP forums suggest a server restart after the upgrade to the latest, so I might get my Hosting to do that... Thanks Guys smile

Hi Rod

"WordPress Updates

You have the latest version of WordPress. Future security updates will be applied automatically.

If you need to re-install version 5.2.1, you can do so here:

Plugins

Your plugins are all up to date.
Themes

Your themes are all up to date."

I have disabled all the plugins anyway, but still no joy.

Backlight 2 Add-on: WP Theme

Hi Folks

I have had a long look and tried many things but I can't get my WP Theme to work at all.

Selected a Page for the Theme -> Exported Theme Successfully to WP -> The Theme shows in WP list but when doing a Live Preview or on Activation I get "The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions."

All the sample themes work fine.

I am obviously missing something...

Cheers

Jeff

Thanks Ben - email sent...

I do not know if it matters or not as per the Installer sent - but I did purchase the upgrade smile

Or can I skip the Backlight install and just go straight to Backlight 2?

Hi - I have been having issues with this process and eventually gave up and started again...
1. Removed Backlight, Galleries, .htaccess and index.php from the host.
2. Downloaded Backlight and addons and Installed and configured for first use - Site opened successfully.
3. Copied \Custom and \Data sub directories from host.
4. Downloaded Backlight2 and copied to host
5. Copied \Custom and \Data sub directories to host.
6. Ran \backlight\installer
7. Installer succeeded but when continuing to Backlight2 I am able to Login but the the configuration screen does not appear - just this message...

SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 1 no such column: enabled|#0 /home/jgfitzpa/public_html/backlight/modules/module-framework/dao/PdoExtended.php(524): PDO->prepare('SELECT display_...') #1 /home/jgfitzpa/public_html/backlight/modules/module-framework/dao/PdoExtended.php(156): PdoExtended->_prepareAndExecuteSqlQuery('SELECT display_...', Array) #2 /home/jgfitzpa/public_html/backlight/modules/module-framework/Framework.php(481): PdoExtended->selectRows('SELECT display_...', Array) #3 /home/jgfitzpa/public_html/backlight/modules/module-framework/Framework.php(443): Framework->handleLanguage(Object(AdminApplicationHelper), Object(AdminConfigManager)) #4 /home/jgfitzpa/public_html/backlight/modules/module-framework/Framework.php(151): Framework->initApplication() #5 /home/jgfitzpa/public_html/backlight/modules/module-framework/Framework.php(41): Framework->init() #6 /home/jgfitzpa/public_html/backlight/index.php(31): Framework->__construct('..', Array) #7 {main}|URL: /backlight/index.php

Backlight was a clean install and worked fine, but I cannot get past this error - I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times but I so want to start using this product I was hoping someone could help with this...
