Ha for something that doesn't need programming that's a bit of an oversight.
Appreciate your fast response and sample css (I would have never figured that).
That made it work
Maybe a future feature would be able to control that via a slider as it would make life a lot easier.
Thanks,
Terry
This is probably a really stupid question but I've been through every option several times and obviously missing it.
Where is the option to alter the font size for the main album text? I can find the slider for headers and I can find the font family and weight but not size
TIA,
Terry
Don't worry about it, I've bought into a different system now
Hi,
Since all the recent problems with the server swap and just about getting everything back it keeps asking me to log in again for every page that I visit in the back end and then it goes to the correct page, this I can just about live with but the clients get it on the client response gallery and they have to enter several times to see the gallery.
What has caused this and how do I reset it?
TIA,
Terry
Ah found that answer to.
For anyone reading this is, it's in the backend under galleries, select album and then scroll to bottom and select delete.
Okay so I found a backup and just restored it
So all is working and it must have been a corruption.
But I do now have galleries in the database which don't actually exist, how do I tidy them up (they are no longer in lightroom)?
Hi,
I'm in the middle of switching over my sites to a new one (different domain name - we're rebranding) and all has been going fine over the last couple of weeks but the other day the host switched us over to a new server and I had to change the php and setup a few php options to make everything work. All seemed great and it all looked to be working but today I've come to update the published galleries and it's all gone wrong.
When I click in the admin area - publisher / setting or top level I get the following: (I also get it if I go to view the clients assigned albums)
SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 26 file is not a database|#0 /home/terryliv/dtstudios.co.uk/backlight/framework/dao/GenericSettingsDAO.php(24): PDO->query('PRAGMA synchron...') #1 /home/terryliv/dtstudios.co.uk/backlight/publisher/application/helpers/ApplicationConfigManager.php(15): GenericSettingsDAO->getData(Object(ApplicationConfigManager)) #2 /home/terryliv/dtstudios.co.uk/backlight/publisher/application/helpers/ApplicationHelper.php(30): ApplicationConfigManager->merge(Object(SettingsDAO), Array) #3 /home/terryliv/dtstudios.co.uk/backlight/framework/helpers/GenericApplicationHelper.php(28): ApplicationHelper->createConfigManager() #4 /home/terryliv/dtstudios.co.uk/backlight/publisher/application/init.php(7): GenericApplicationHelper->getConfigManager() #5 /home/terryliv/dtstudios.co.uk/backlight/framework/init.php(144): require_once('/home/terryliv/...') #6 /home/terryliv/dtstudios.co.uk/backlight/publisher/index.php(36): require_once('/home/terryliv/...') #7 {main}|URL: /backlight/publisher/index.php
I'm pretty sure it was working from lightroom when I went to publish an album but then I tried moving an album before publishing it and then it all seems to mess up.
Any help in recovering would be great.
Thanks,
Terry
Thanks Rod, will do
Yeah already did that (mentioned it few messages up - I know, I talk / type a lot )
I was still broke on that, so at least I know it's nothing to do with the original install.
This problem isn't fixed, I've just put a .htacess redirect to another server which does run the site correctly. I've only got this for a week or so.
If Ben or Matt want to give me a heads up on how to fix I can disable the .htaccess to debug.
Cheers,
Tel.
I've installed a fresh version a test directory and when you load that page it says backlight needs configuring but then comes up with the following error (which is basically what I get now on the main site)
session_start(): Unable to clear session lock record|#0 [internal function]: ErrorHandler::handleError(2, 'session_start()...', '/home/hp3-linc8...', 74, Array) #1 /home/hp3-linc8-nfs2-z/300/1903300/user/htdocs/backlight/framework/helpers/AuthHelper.php(74): session_start() #2 /home/hp3-linc8-nfs2-z/300/1903300/user/htdocs/backlight/framework/init.php(123): AuthHelper::handleSession() #3 /home/hp3-linc8-nfs2-z/300/1903300/user/htdocs/backlight/admin/index.php(24): require_once('/home/hp3-linc8...') #4 {main}|URL: /backlight/admin/index.php
Okay, I've done the following:
Chmod 775 on data and galleries
I downloaded the latest backlight and uploaded all but data and custom incl. htaccess files.
I've put a tmp holding shtml page up but the main page can be accessed http://www.terryliveseyphotography.co.uk/index.php
The .htaccess is currently disabled to the html works.
Where do I go now
They say I need to use SSH to change permission which I've been in done. It's getting a time out message in the error logs and I'm assuming this is because it cannot write the file? Does that sound valid?
I’m using 7 which is what I was using before.
I have just noticed that the file permissions are all set to 700 which I’m sure isn’t right and when I try and change them I get an error so will have to ring the host when they are open in the morning.
I got the host update the hosting to a virtual server for all my sites so that I could have an SSL which has worked fine for all my site except the one with backlight.
http://www.terryliveseyphotography.co.uk
I get the following error:
session_start(): Unable to clear session lock record|#0 [internal function]: ErrorHandler::handleError(2, 'session_start()...', '/home/hp3-linc8...', 74, Array) #1 /home/hp3-linc8-nfs2-z/300/1903300/user/htdocs/backlight/framework/helpers/AuthHelper.php(74): session_start() #2 /home/hp3-linc8-nfs2-z/300/1903300/user/htdocs/backlight/framework/init.php(123): AuthHelper::handleSession() #3 /home/hp3-linc8-nfs2-z/300/1903300/user/htdocs/index.php(19): require_once('/home/hp3-linc8...') #4 {main}|URL: /index.php
This is the same for the admin section.
Any ideas would be great
Thanks,
Terry
Okay so PHP 7 didn't fix it
Time to disable reporting
Thanks all, I'll give that a try then
Thanks Ben for the quick response. One of the options on my host is to upgrade to PHP 7.0 is backlight compatible? Might this fix the problem as I don't have other options (apart from disabling the reporting).
Cheers,
Terry
I haven't upgraded to the latest version yet, as I don't have the time to solve any issues or rejig the site but I've just started getting a lot of these errors both on pages of my website and in the backend which is probably because the hosting company has changed something. Does anyone have any idea why and if I can fix it?
Thanks,
Terry
The below is in a red box:
Something went wrong
Unexpected error: PHP Startup: Invalid library (appears to be a Zend Extension, try loading using zend_extension=opcache.so from php.ini) in Unknown on line 0
Please report error at http://community.theturninggate.net
You're an absolute star!
Thank you for that and the quick response.
Hi,
I need to add some code into the <head> section. Is there somewhere in the backend in which I can add my code or is there one file I can edit to make it appear on each page?
Thanks,
Terry
Any idea why it only goes to 84 px for the quality and won't let me do 100?
Btw Jpeg mini doesn't seem to work from the plugin settings pane in LR
Oh well back to manually compressing them after the upload.
Ah thanks Rod, looking in the wrong place as usual. I'll do some testing and see if this works
Okay so I recently got Jpeg mini and it now comes with a plugin for lightroom and under the TTG publisher options it allows me to add it in to the workflow. - Haven't tested it yet.
1. Is there any problems with this?
2. I seem to remember that you could set the quality for jpegs in which the TTG publisher used and I can't remember or find it. Anyone any ideas. I want to set the quality to 100 and let jpegmini handle it.
Cheers,
Terry
So I have deduced that anything in the root is redirected (or anything under the control of backlight) so I reverted to uploading a php file the name of the old link with the following code to do a permanent redirect:
<?php
// PHP permanent URL redirection
header("Location: http://www.terryliveseyphotography.co.uk/training/", true, 301);
exit();
?>
Just need to work on redirecting the directories but put this up there for anyone else wanting to do the same.
