during installation the top level 'galleries' directory was not created.
as a result of this 'Update Album Files' will not do anything because it can't find the 'galleries' directory.
I created the 'galleries' directory manually. (at the same level as the 'backlight' directory just in case this isn't clear to anybody.)
Now 'Update Album Files' works and I can create albums etc..
Just a heads up for those encountering similar problems and not wishing to spend as much time as I did !
No help, so I just deleted the whole installation of backlight and reinstalled in a different folder and created a new API Key during setup and now the connection with Lightroom works.
Pretty drastic solution for a fix as I also had to recreate all my page and menu designs.
Doesn't inspire confidence.
Thanks Ben, I have emailed you with details.
I have read through previous posts regarding this problem but none of them fix the issue for me.
I have Lightroom 9.2, TTG Publisher 4.0.10.0, Backlight 2.0.14
My site URL is of the form: https://mydomain/subdir/backlight
I have checked 'automatically redirect browsers to https' is BL settings.
TTG Publisher has the API URL as: https://mydomain/subdir/backlight/publisher
I have tried changing the API Key in both BL and TTG
I repeatedly get the message: Unable to find Publisher. Please check that the API URL is correct.
I am out of ideas at this end.
Could somebody help please?
Thanks in advance
