Yes, it's gone again so I've opened a ticket with my host to investigate.

Ok, weird... I've not done anything, but it's now working.

Thanks for taking a look anyway.

Hi Matthew,

As far as I can tell, my host does meet the requirements. I did have Backlight working before, so I'm a bit confused as to what's happened. I have other websites (one on CE3 and another Wordpress) with the same host and they are working fine and I'm not aware of my host making any changes to the backend.

Hi,

I've tried upgrading Backlight, but I'm getting a 500 internal server error when I visit my site (http://geraldcrockett.com) or go to the admin page. I've had a look through the forum and have seen a few other posts about similar problems. The suggestions there were either a problem with the .htaccess file or permissions on the file/folders. I've tried changing the file permissions but didn't make any difference, I've not touched the .htaccess file as I don't know what I'm doing with that.

Any ideas as to what I should be looking for to try and fix this?

Many thanks,
Gerald
