Hello there. How can I replace the title in the top pallet inside backlight 2? The functions are, as you mentioned, not working any more.
Thanks
Hello, like so many based in the EU I am interested in this topic as well. As interesting as this solution seems - does it affect Google Analytics?
Thanks for checking back. Yes it did. All that I had to do was clear the cache of the browser and reload the page. Sorry for the delayed update.
Hello, are there4 any changes in backlight 1.2.1? Tried to modify the share button in the slideshow but it remains the same.
Makes no difference I am afraid.
Once again: Thanks Rod. All sorted now. Copyright info in the footer jumped to the left as well but I can definitely live with that.
Hi Rod,
thank you so much. That solved my problem. I had the first option you suggested but backlights strangely couldn't find the image.
But your solution with the uploaded file works like a charm.
I just have one strange thing happen to me. Unlike in your example my logo doesn't show up on the left of the window (where the original text masthead was as well) but just on the left of the menu which is located as well in the top palette.
Here is a link to the site
http://berndott.net/galleries/free/
That is the only thing I'd like to fix.
And thanks to everyone here for the patience with non-coders like myself.
Hi Matthew, same problem as Alfred. Tried the latest script but all get is the icon of a missing image. Where is the "image.jpg" in your example above located?
Thanks
Bernd
Hello. For a while I have been struggling with a seemingly simple problem.
I have to very different galleries on my web site and everything so far works fine.
But instead of having a simply one size fits all index page as the first point of entry I wanted to have a Ken Burns animation with two links to each of the different galleries.
The basic problem: How do I replace the Backlight index page with one of my choosing? I have tried editing .htaccess, have tried to erase it so the index.html of the designed page in question will be loaded (this breaks some of the functionality of Backlight) and so on. No luck.
I am no coder so a fairly simply solution would be most welcome.
Thanks to everybody
Bernd
