Hi,
Is it possible to stop images being downloaded? By this I mean disable the right click function or something like that.
I saw that there is a function "Image Download" in the album properties and selected "off" but you can still download the image.

Hi Agustin, Thanks for the reply, yes I also was hoping not to have to load 2 copies of the images as I have loads of photos big_smile

I see on your site that you have 2 languages.
What did you end up doing about the images and folders?
I ask as I need 2 languages on my site.
I have Backlight and yes it is good but the documentation and some functions need to be improved.

Hi,
I am trying to get the contacts page to function.
I have filled in all the smtp details but can't get it to work.
I have tried different info but same result just get error messages.

fsockopen(): unable to connect to ssl://smtp.calixo.net:110 (Connection refused) in SMTP.php on line 125

fsockopen(): unable to connect to ssl://smtp.calixo.net:25 (Connection refused) in SMTP.php on line 125

fsockopen(): unable to connect to mail.calixo.net:25 (Connection refused) in SMTP.php on line 125

When I tried using the mail setting and not the smtp settings I did not get an error message but the mail never came.

Any further tips?

Hi Rod,
Thanks again for explaining things.

I had put the Album called _Custom Thumbnails in side the Album Set when it should have been a separate Album.

Hi Rod,
Yes you were correct about the custom folder being displayed.
The other problem which Matt suggested a workaround to was to get a cover image for an Album Set. No problem selecting an image for a normal album and I like the random feature there.
Matt suggested creating a special folder called _Custom Thumbnails to store the images for album sets. his link is here!-

However when I follow the instructions i'm unable to selet the Custom Thumbnails folder to choose an image from.

I tried the custom thumbnails advice and there is a wee bug.
I followed your instructions.
The folder is being displayed and how do you select an image from the custom thumbnails folder?

Hi, Yes I will agree that the documentation need a lot of work and it is not straightforward. Maybe for a TTG developer but certainly not for a new purchaser of Backlight.
I can't find this link that is quoted "Publisher > Top-level Galleries" where do I find this?

Another question. In an Album set the cover image did not show even though I set it at random from the selection. When I tried a cusom one it will display the image. Am I dong something wrong? (very possible as just trying to figure out this software)
So I think that this should be fixed to select an image from one of the albums at random or remove the random selection from the choice.

**  I found the "Publisher > Top-level Galleries" now to play around. I enjoy playing around but in this case I wish that It would be easier big_smile
