Excellent - thanks for that!
Okay, that worked. So how do I alter .galleria-info-title
and
.galleria-info-description ?
What I want is for the caption to be centered with 11pt verdana italic #cccccc
Hi Rod, not having any joy enabling phplugins.
I got the server path okay then opened phplugins.php in DW and removed /* DELETE THIS LINE and DELETE THIS LINE */
but when reloading the background does not turn red as expected.
Okay, got it. Can the caption be centered? Are there any font options? Color seems to be same as UI color.
How do I get captions for my slideshow? I have Title selected in Image Info but it doesn't seem to have any effect. All images have full metadata.
Thanks for that, I thought it must be a css thing but I didn't know which file was responsible. All works fine now!
Thanks Rod - the navigation bar thing was driving me nuts but I just had the colour of it set wrong. Size of the thumbs could be a bit bigger but it's okay.
With a bit of hacking in DW, I managed to make an about page that matches the index page. The only thing I couldn't get right is the colour of the hyperlinks which come up blue instead of the olive green I specified. I have them set correctly in content/description, also under typography and they look right in both LR and DW. I only uploaded the about.html page, not the lib folder, autoindex etc.
OK, so I managed to recreate my web page virtually identical to what I have uploaded @ www.thedrunkenboat.net except I can't get the navigation area to appear as a continuous bar all the way across (as if its a part of the masthead).
The first time I did it I thought it gave me that by default, whereas now I just get separate tabs for the navigation items. What am I not doing?
Also, there is an option to alter the size of thumbnails but no matter what I put in there, the thumb strip remains the same. Any other way to change that?
Hi Rod, strange thing happened this morning - I go to open LR and it tells me that my catalogue is corrupted and needs to be repaired. After numerous attempts, the repair fails. I have a backup catalogue which works, but of course it does not have all the new work I did yesterday in Stage.
2 questions: 1, does CE4 have any history of causing LR catalogues to crash and 2, is there any way of retrieving the work I did on the new web page. At the moment all I have is the export files but all the LR Web settings are gone.
Thanks Rod, all good now.
I uploaded it for you to see: www.thedrunkenboat.net
Thanks for that Rod, I sorted the first part - hadn't selected the Now showing option.
I have built a new page (basic) around the slide show now, but the images appear too far down the page and you have to scroll way down to find the thumbs. Is there a way to fix the top of the image 100px below the navigation strip?
Also, is it possible to make the contact button operate as "mailto:me@thedrunkenboat.net" so that it just opens the mail client? or does it have to go to another page?
i've only just installed ce4 stage and still feeling my way around. first thing that seems odd is that i don't get any kind of working preview in LR - the main window stays blank and i can only see the results when i click preview in browser. is this right?
second and more importantly, once i've created my slideshow how do i go about embedding it into my existing website? my address is: www.thedrunkenboat.net and i want to replace the existing ss (wowslider) with my new one. i have dreamweaver but my skills are pretty limited.
thanks for any help!
