You should do that via custom css or the next time you export the gallery/template, the modifications will be overwritten.
Yes, good point. In this case I just needed to do this for one gallery. Thanks for your help.
I figured out how to make the display image smaller in the Touch presentation (should work in the Magnific presentation too I think) so that the UI controls don't overlap the image.
In lib/css/style-component.css, add the following lines to the
.slides, .thumbs section at line 1760:
height: calc(100% - 123px);
min-height: calc(100% - 123px);
top: 48px;
The images will display with top and bottom borders large enough to accommodate the UI elements.
you must be using Magnific Pop Up presentation?
For that presentation you can hide the UI on launch. But if you don't want a UI overlaying images, try the Highslide presentation.
I'm using the Touch presentation. I know you can hide the UI on launch, but I want to keep it visible as I have captions that I don't want to hide. Using the Highslide presentation is a solution for desktop use, but I want something that supports swiping for tablet use. I tried changing some parameters in the CSS files, but I don't have much experience with CSS.
- Using the Masonry layout, can I specify the colour of the cell number text?
yes, with custom css.
I think this should do it:
.ce4-freewall .cellnumber { color: #F00; }
That sets the color to red, but set your color as needed.
To set up for custom css:
If you haven't done it already, you'll need to enable phplugins site-wide: http://ce4.theturninggate.net/docs/doku … _phplugins
and then enable custom css: http://ce4.theturninggate.net/docs/doku … custom_css
Thanks, will try that. Thanks for your help!
Hello,
I have two questions regarding CE4 Gallery:
- On single image views, the UI elements (including the nav/slideshow controls, title and caption, etc.) overlay the image and can be hidden by clicking on the image. Can I make it so that the UI elements do not overlap the image? Can I perhaps specify a border around the image that the UI elements can be displayed there?
- Using the Masonry layout, can I specify the colour of the cell number text? There is a colour control for the Standard layout, but not for Masonry.
Thanks
