#1 Re: General » TTG-BE installation problem » 2015-07-18 00:18:12

I apologize, lost a fairly comprehensive answer a couple of days ago when my access to this system was banned :-) ...

Matthew cleared up whatever happened there and now I am almost back in business.

My problem got solved as I was writing my "lost" post. It turned out that my FTP-Transfer using Total Commander (which I dearly love and have used for many years) converted everything to lower case which caused all my problems.

My first attempts now went a lot better and now I am trying to learn the basic approaches and philophosies of CE4. The more I work with it the more fascinated I am becoming with the concept and the possibilities.

I'm sure I'll be back with an occasional question soon, but will go through the documentation systematically first.

Thank you for your help and pointers.

When you unzip the CE4-TTG-BE-203.zip file you'll have a folder named ttg-be. Upload this entire folder to the root of your site, not just the contents within. Is that what you did?

Yes, that's what I did. There is a directory ttg-be directly at the top level with the other content beneath.

Currently this is the only directory since I deleted everything else.

OK, I put a simple index.html on the top level just for testing...

Just bought the CE4-bundle (gallery, publisher, pages, auto_index, TTG-BE 203, viewport sizer)

After watching the video for the installation and reading everything I could find...

Copied the contents of the zip file CE4-TTG-BE-203.zip to my domain top directory.

The domain is "www.luchsauge.de"

The error message I get when calling up the URL http://www.luchsauge.de/ttg-be/admin/ is:

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '../framework/Framework.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php5.4') in /homepages/7/d74503373/htdocs/luchsauge.de/ttg-be/framework/init.php on line 32

I called my provider (1und1 in Germany), verified permissions for all the relevant elements (755 is correct in this case) and from looking at the php in admin/index.php they said there was an upper/lower case issue (framework was called as "Framework", see error message) and that wasn't the only problem...    hmm

Now I'm trying to figure out what is really going on.

What could I be doing wrong? Do you or anybody have any suggestions?

TIA Teddy
