Rob, you're a genius - thanks.

You were spot on on the parenthesis in the name (it snuck through) - re-publish did not work, I had to delete the image in the website folder to force creation of a new name.

Secondly, I forgot all about changing the metadata in two places - that fixed it, thanks.

I'll do the rest after work this evening.
Kind regards

Hi Rob,
I republished several times, no joy.

A bigger problem however. Some images will just not display in the light-box / slideshow.
For example the dragonfly image in this gallery - http://georghofmeyr.com/galleries/Revie … 150-600mm/

I've deleted the image from the publisher album, then published, then added it back then re-publish again - no Joy. The only strange thing - I used that image as the album set thumbnail, then changed the set's thumbnail back to random. The album set does not want to display an image now either, despite several re-publishings?

Any suggestions?
Kind Regards
Georg

Hi All,
At last its ready to be shown to the world. I'll appreciate feedback from anyone - compliments are nice, but constructive criticism is much more valuable.

georghofmeyr.com

BTW I do have one issue that I struggle with - the metadata labels on the thumbnails. Ive changed them in the galleries template uploaded into ttg-be, but the old labels are sticky and remain. Any suggestions??

Kind Regards
Georg

Thanks Mathew,

I should have realised that, had I thought about it.

By the way, many thanks for this great suite of products. They are really powerful, and its fun to use. The learning curve is quite steep for a complete novice like myself, but the end product is well worth it. Also I'm impressed with the speed of your support responses, thanks!

Kind regards
Georg

#5 Re: CE4 Pages » Bamboozled by tokens » 2015-03-02 19:02:30

Many Thanks, Mathew, understood.

What confused me was the refrerence to "the publisher" which I read as "the (TTG CE4) publisher!" contained in the paragraph presented below from your supporting docs:

"The rest of this page documents the template notation as it exists for the latest version of the publisher. As much as possible, we are mirroring Jeffrey's documentation, making changes where necessary to reflect current Publisher support.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A template is a combination of prose and special tokens wrapped in { … } that insert photo-specific items.

For example, the template Copyright {YYYY} {Artist}..."

Does this mean the {YYYY} token will only work if I get Jeffrey's plugin?
Kind Regards
Georg

Hi All,

Somehow I am misunderstanding how tokens work for copyright watermarks. When I use {YYYY} or {YYYY|yyyy} in the water mark  that is exactly what prints instead of the actual year in figures.

Any guidance will be much appreciated.

Kind Regards
Georg

Hi All,
I'm trying to use CE4 Publisher to Manage my CE4 Pages Home Page with a full-screen flip . On clicking enter, I want to be redirected to the original homepage with a gallereria gallery.

When visiting the site the full-screen flip works perfectly, however, I've clearly done something stupid on setting the enter button link, because the page returns to the full-screen instead of exiting to the normal home page (index) or any other page. Ive tried setting the enter button link to both "home" and to "one level up)", but neither works.

my (very new and first time ever) site is at:

http://www.georghofmeyr.com/

Any advice on where I could have gone wrong will be appreciated.
Kind Regards
Georg
